The hose is pliable yet thick making it less likely to kink. As others have mentioned, the brass fittings feel solid and durable. The swivel on the nozzle end is a useful feature. I hate having to manhandle the end of the hose to point the nozzle where I want. I can easily twist the nozzle and point it where I want on this YAMATIC hose. Only downside to the swivel I see is that it does make it harder to tighten the nozzle onto the end. If that became a problem, you could always use a wrench on the brass fitting to keep it from moving. 10ft is a short hose, but if that's the size you need then this hose should work. I can't speak to the longevity of the material because it hasn't been outside in the elements very long. I will update this review if that changes. Product is made in China

This 10 foot hose is handy to use at the water spigot. The end fittings seems to be quite durable but the hose material itself seems a bit flimsy. When hooked up to the water supply it did not leak. When I placed the hose under pressure, it did not leak or swell. The material that the hose is made from prevents it from kinking. It is very flimsy and almost transparent. I am unsure about its ability to hold up to extreme weather conditions or how long it will last in general. Other "heavy duty" hoses that I have are made of a much heavier material. I think the description of "heavy duty" is off the mark a bit, for that I ding a star. Otherwise, so far it seems to be adequate.

It's a nice hose so far, just not as firm as I like. Seems to be good quality, just softer than any other "Heavy Duty" hose I've ever used.

I used this as a bridge hose between two soakers. I jetted out and added some scrap conduit under some steps and fed this hose through. I like the high visibility colors. The material is different from your standard hose. It is mostly buried, but I'll be weed-eating in the area. We will see how it holds up. As far as price, this is pretty good for a short hose.
