It's nearly impossible to understate what a game-changer these have been for me. I used to leave my hoses and even my sprayers outside all year round because removing and re-attaching them was such a hassle. But leaving those things exposed to the elements greatly shortened their lives. I shudder to think of the money I've wasted over the years. These brass quick release fittings have been a game changer. Now it's just so easy to attach and remove hoses from the spigots and various sprayer attachments to the hose. Most of these fittings leaked when I tried to install them by hand. But an adjustable wrench easily fixed the issue. Now I have a fitting on every hose, every spigot, and every attachment and the work perfectly. No leaks. No issues. I can't believe I waited so long to try these. Do yourself a favor, stop waiting. Stop shopping. Buy a pack of these brass fittings. Life will never be the same -- in a good way.

Having used plastic and poorly made brass ones, it is nice having a better quality product. I have only started using them but the quality of the machining and fit is excellent. They haven't leaked. Easy to tighten and you could use angle pliers to give extra torque if needed. The knurled part of the one side (female to the hose) is good and didn't get damaged when I did use the pliers. The metal seems like good quality and solid brass - not plated. That could be just good plating and finish but they seem like they are solid which will make them last longer without future binding from an underlying different base metal. I like them.

These are the ones to get. The cheapo big-box variety made of aluminum leak and if you aren't careful can weld themselves to brass fixtures through electrolysis. Connect brass to brass and you will never have a problem. I got a set of six of these and quick connect all my hose junctions -- to water faucet, extra lengths of hose, and with sprayer nozzles. It's a convenience you won't want to do without once you try it.

I love these quick disconnects, but there's two downsides. The first is that you have to install these everywhere for the system to work; every hose, every spicket, every pressure washer, every sprayer handle, etc. The second is that the sealing washer is rubber and doesn't seem to be replaceable as I've not seen them for sale. The build quality is impeccable, very lightweight, no noticeable water restriction, no sharp edges, and very easy to use.

These fittings were bought to replace a less expensive fitting that was made of plated plastic. These metal and machined fittings provide a much tighter and precise fit. I recently bought an RV, and was determined to make the setup and teardown of the unit as easy as possible. One way to do that is fit all of the hose and plumbing connections with quick connect fittings. These fittings significantly shorten the setup process and that can be very useful on a day like today when we had to setup in the snow/rain mix that was falling at the time. Don't buy cheap, you will be disappointed. I am very happy with the fit and function of these fittings.

Connecting my hose to the water outlet was never easier. Hand tightening the hose to the water outlet sometimes wasn't tight enough to prevent leaks. Adding this quick connect fitting made connecting the hose to the outlet 100% easier/convenient. I can't believe I didn't do this sooner... This stainless steel garden hose quick connect water hose fittings (3/4" thread) connects directly to any standard water outlet. I paired this with teflon tape (plumbers tape) around the thread before installing and have no worries leaks. Although a little tight when connecting the male to female coupler(s), it looks/feels solid. Designed for a standard garden hose (as-is) or as a connection to a pressure washer without issues. Definitely believe this is worth the price.
