    • Good and sturdy chairs - tips for installation

Just completed my installation - the chairs are nice-looking and sturdy (do not know yet how long they last). Here are some tips that make the installation easier. (1) Install the chairs on a table or kitchen counter - much easier than do it on the floor. There are two reasons - the first reason is easier for your back; the second reason is subtle but more important - the screw only goes into the nut if the screw aligns very well with the nut. - it is much easier to judge the screw's alignment when it is close to you than an arm away from above. (2) To make the chair sturdy, you have to tighten the screws - each chair has nine screws. (3) To make the chair not wobbly, you have to level all four legs. The seat connects to the back via five screws - four corner ones and one central one. You can slightly rotate the seat relative to the back around the central screw, which is how to level the two back legs. Two front legs each has a slight space up and down, which help to level two front legs. Plus, two front legs each has a level screw under the leg. That is all from my installation. ... show more

These chairs are exactly as pictured I ordered the Grey. They seem super sturdy. Out of the box they are wobbly but you just unscrew the foot on one of the legs and boom.....sturdy even chair! The instructions don't tell you that by the way. ( they def could have been better) Putting them together was super easy. It was a great buy for the price, they wipe clean which is what I wanted. We bought 8 for our dining table, since the price was good and it gets expensive when you need that many. They were a pain to build, literally taking 40 mins apiece if not more. Of the lot, 2 were very wobbly and had to be adjusted the most, taking more time. One was slightly scratched on the leg and another had a dented cushion, but otherwise the packaging and parts were good and complete. I consider that pretty good for an order of this many parts. These chairs were nicer than I expected. I bought them for my son’s apartment and actually thought about keeping them for myself. The cushions are very comfortable and the chair feels sturdy. These chairs look great but they instantly started to break. Even when the boots are super tight the back legs still bend in when you sit on them. They design in bad and they need more support in the legs. I am only 130 pounds and they are still bending in on me. When my teenage boys sit on them it is even worse. DO NOT BUY THEM! ... show more
