So, I am picky about what I sit on. Why? Because I have a bad back, specifically my lower back, and sciatic nerve. I need a chair that is going to be both supportive AND comfortable. Have you ever been sitting at someone's table, drinking coffee/ wine/ tea, chit chatting, then after a while you're thinking "OMG MY BACK IS KILLING ME!!!"? I SWORE when I got my own place I would have matching chairs that were supportive, and comfy, so that when my family or friends come over, they can relax and enjoy themselves. These chairs ROCK!!! I love that they are comfy but not too cushy. Also, the back doesn't come up so high that the chairs impede anyone's view or make the room look smaller. And, they cradle my but and hips, providing support. *NOTE: it doesn't say it in the description (and it should) but the feet to the legs are screw in, so you can easily replace the feet with wheels. So far, the set of 2 chairs we received are great! We were nervous about buying chairs without testing them. We figured too many parson type chairs for dining have been uncomfortable and not sturdy enough for people with wider hips or tall and larger people. These were super easy to put together but, the instructions are more images than reading. They seem sturdy in construction and even the chair seems to be upholstered around a metal frame. The higer backs and arm rests are comfortable for longer periods of time (we play a lot of board games and do crafts at the dining table). I feel like the fabric could take small spills and be easy enough to clean. Not sure how long the padding in them will last however, you could place a pillow (like those meant for wooden chairs) on the seat later down the road because the shape of the chair would cradle it nicely. The color didn't disappoint and goes great with our rug and other décor. ... show more

So much nicer than I expected and the price was outstanding. These were a last minute purchase for my kiddos who are doing distance learning. They love how comfortable the chairs are and I feel they are sturdy enough. My husband is 230lbs and fits, but the sides are snug.

I've been using these chairs for 4 or 5 months now. Don't get me wrong, these chairs look OK and does not have a major issue. It's just that they were a little expensive for the overall experience. The assembly is easy but the screws loosen over time, a bit fast. Then you'd have to tighten it - I'd say once every month depending on the use. Just not to deal with it anymore, they are sitting at a corner of our house now, just to throw stuff on. It was a disadvantage that these didn't come with the prime option, I guess it also makes it difficult to return these items after purchase. Long story short, decide thoroughly! ... show more

I bought these chairs for their aesthetics and small size, so I expected them not be comfortable, but actually they’re okay. Of course, they won’t replace a lounge chair, but for a short sitting, they’re good. The color is beautiful and the fabric is soft.
