I've been looking for many basketball hoops for my 7 year old son to keep him busy outdoor. It arrived in 2 days!! Assembly was easy although you need a few tools to tighten the screws. Grandpa and grandson put it together in less than 30 minutes and already had a match in the backyard! When the ball hits the rim, the pole will shake a little but it is still playable. We put water in the base and put a bag of fertile soil sitting in the backyard.

Perfect net for a younger child. Filling the base with water gives it enough weight to not move around too much (perhaps I’ll try sand in the future). Only two things I would improvise: * The backboard is small. I wouldn’t need it to be regulation but it’s quite small and therefore can’t grow with your child despite the pole extending. * The wheels on the front could be bigger. I put our hoop away in the garage at night and it’s tough to get it to roll over a basic electrical cord.

We've had it 11 months. My two 8 year olds and some of the neighbor kids enjoy it at the least every weekend. The net material didn't last long and that is the only reason I took away a star. It deteriorated fast. I ended up buying a chain net. Great little hoop for the money.

You get what you pay for. I didn't want anything super expensive. It's not bad. But it's not great. The backboard is small. For my young kiddos first basketball hoop. It works just fine. The only thing I was disappointed about is the net completely fell apart and was disintegrating within only 2 months! I do live in Texas. So we do have some serious heat. I simply purchased a chain net for it.

Like a lot of the reviews have said the net is rotting rather quickly but I am not really worried about that. Seems to be holding up for my 8 year old but will be getting upgraded as he grows. 7.5 feet is not as tall as you think. Also the back board is smaller than others but I knew that going in.

I/ we are so happy with this product! I purchased it for my almost 3 yr old grandson, because he was too big for his Toddler hoop. We’ve had it a few months now, outside of course, and it’s in perfect condition. Net is still great. My grandson loves it! He can now really “shoot the ball” and has the best time. My son-in-law assembled it, so I can’t comment, but it went up without a hitch. It’s NOT meant for dunking, as I had to remind my 10 yr old grandson, after he did ;-) It’s meant for small children to learn the game. I highly recommend it!

We got this for our family since we aren’t able to go to the park due to the pandemic. We filled it with sand and it is very sturdy and perfect for our family. We have kids ages 8, 6 and 3 and they loved playing basketball. I love that it is adjustable and we can lower it for our little one or put it higher for the adults too.

It does the job, but after a month of using it, the bolts dont hold the backboard in an upright position against the pole. We had to take it off the pole, drill another hole up higher and add a 3 inch bolt to secure. It does like I said do the job, but just dont be too rough....no dunking that's for sure.
