These chairs are beautiful and sturdy. I bought them to go with our old-fashioned desks in the office and they are perfect. However, the video currently showing how to put them together is not helpful. It is next to impossible to align the screw holes at the correct angle to get them to connect if you try to start with the cushions along the bottom back. After 2 hours and many explicative words, I finally figured out how to do it. My second chair was together in about 25 minutes. This is how I did it: First, put the arms on the seat cushion on both sides. They are a straight shot on and are easy to install. Next, take the back cushion and attach it with the two bolts on each upper side. Then all you have to do is push the cushions together with a little force and it automatically lines up the screw holes for the three bolts along the back. And you're done! Hope that is helpful. I was looking for a chair to fit in a small space, not block a necessary air vent, stand up to four kids yet not brake the bank. This chair checks off each of those boxes. Since all four of my kids are now teens, we needed additional seating to our couch and loveseat for movie nights and watching sports. This chair is a great price with a sturdy build. My only reason for not giving it five stars is that the legs are slightly uneven even with multiple adjustments. Thankfully, it does not wobble when a person is in the chair. If I didn’t get this chair “used - like new” with free shipping I would have been very unhappy to pay the high price point. The chair arrived with some cuts in the leather on the back side (luckily it’s on the back). Step one of assembling this chair took me a majority of the overall assembly time because, like many other reviewers stated, things don’t line up great (even without tightening all the way). When I was finally done putting this chair together I was so excited to sit it up and take a seat…. Only to realize the chair legs are unbalanced and uneven by over an inch (the tiny adjustable feet cannot help this problem). My husband thought he could fix it by unloosening and retightening screws. 30 minutes later and we still have a slightly wobbly chair that can’t be fastened all the way or else the wobbling gets worse. ... show more

I ordered this chair for $80 with $40 shipping. Tried to return because it didn’t fit my space and they wanted $150 just to ship it back to them. Ridiculous. Also the chair is very lackluster.
