We bought a new couch and opted for a lighter color (knowing that was risky) bc I wanted to brighten up our living room. Plus both my cat and dog have lighter hair so I figured it would be less visible on this than the dark gray one I had previously 🤣 What I didn’t know was how easily the new couch could get pulls in the material. The cat and dogs nails would create pulls just from them being on the couch at all. I wanted to get covers but I’ve had some in the past and they just scream “hello, my pets own my home and all of my decorating decisions are based solely around the fact that I have them.” Plus I just got this couch and wasn’t trying to hide it! I found something similar to these covers on ads I was getting on FB and IG and I loved them but they were close to $120 each. I figured I’d see if I could find something similar for cheaper and THE REST WAS HISTORY!! Not only do these match my couch perfectly, they just tuck right into the cushions so they look like they’re part of the couch! The material is very soft, so they do slip out from the cushions here and there (especially when it’s time for the zoomies), but it takes 2 seconds to tuck them back in. Or you could probably drape them over the top half of the couch too, That just wasn’t what I needed them for. I’ve already washed them once (it says to air dry only, but in a small Brooklyn apartment with no outdoor space ain’t nobody got time for that - so I dried them on low and they were totally fine). I got 3 total to cover my whole sectional and everyone loves them as you can see from the pictures 🥰 we’re happy customers and I’d def recommend these to anyone looking for protection for your furniture that doesn’t LOOK like protection for your furniture!

I was afraid I might have to return it but finally! It took about 3-4 days for my outdoor cat to even touch it lol. It made a slight crinkle noise so maybe that’s why he stayed away from it. But then he would accidentally jump and land his front paws on it on the table. When it gets colder around 50 degrees at night/early morning, I found him laying there. It’s only going to get colder so when autumn officially comes and I see him enjoying the mat, I definitely want to purchase one for inside his insulated icebox cat house for the winter! With warm weather came the usual packing up of the heated blanket that the suckers, I mean my wife and I, keep on the couch for our spoiled housecats. The itty bitty white kitty, affectionately known as Itty, is perpetually cold no matter what time of year it is, so I set out on a quest to find him something that would help when his favorite binkie (the one that makes its own warmth, like some miracle or something) was in storage. I struck out at both of the pet stores near the house (probably because I went looking for a winter product in springtime) so, when I went back home and broke the bad news to Itty, he demanded that I continue looking. Okay. So actually, he just sat there on the non-warming, plain, inferior blanket on "his" section of the couch, affecting a dramatic shiver and occasionally making his teeth chatter. A few days later, Amazon came through for me with this self-warming, fuzzy blanket that's just big enough to fit the middle section of our couch. I mean, Itty's couch. The shivering, white kitty sprang into action, claiming the new binkie as his own even as he continued sniffing it to determine if he were going to like it or puke on it. Or yes. (Sometimes, he vomits on the things he likes. Such as my bed.) This is a soft, fuzzy blanket that all three of our cats lie on for hours at a time. Not all at the same time, though. This blanket isn't quite big enough for that. Besides, they're cats. They don't all get into a big, cute cuddle puddle even when I try to bribe them with food. However, two kitties who are feeling benevolent can comfortably fit on, and snuggle up to each other while using, this blanket. There's a loop on one end for storage, or hanging to dry, as you aren't supposed to just toss this thing into the dryer. This is only a minor inconvenience in our house, as we already hang or lay out some other stuff to air dry; adding one more, small-ish piece of laundry to that isn't the biggest deal. Your mileage may vary, so it's good to know these things before you buy. Inside, there's basically a piece of that silver emergency blanket you may have tucked into your car's trunk for winter weather. (You are prepared for that, right?) So, after one of our cats has been on the blanket a few minutes or so, his/her own body heat is reflected. Warm kitties! No power required! And this was a cheap blanket, so we can replace it every couple-few years without losing our shirts! Actually, I purchased this more than a year ago; during cold months, it got washed and packed up so that Heated Blanket, Itty's favorite, could reappear. He was, again, sad to see that blanket's departure, but welcomed this self-heating alternative with a sniff and a prompt lie down right in the middle. This would be a five-star purchase but, because the fuzzy material is a bit thin, and because this is not the most-luxurious blanket of its type on the market, I can't pretend that it's top of the line. However, for the price, this is a solid deal that I'll buy again. Assuming that the cats don't find this review, learn that I did not spend all of my hard-earned money to buy them The Best Blanket in the Universe, and leave their hairballs in my shoes while I'm asleep. Also, the dark-brown color is a good choice. It hides the most cat hair.

while it does make a bit of sound when the cats ( i have 3 ) walk in it, the noise doesn't seem to bother them. i have the pad on the top shelf of a cat tree and someone is always laying on it.

I got this as a christmas gift for my cats and they use it all the time ! They seem to really love it, they sleep on it and play on it a lot. Its really really soft, it looks nice too. I think this is a great product for pets !
