I purchased this firepit to replace a smaller, older one that we used in our driveway. We created an area in our backyard to put this large, beautiful firepit in. We purchased the medium size one. It was so easy to assemble and created an extension of our living area since we rarely used our backyard previously. We lit a fire in it last night and it was beautiful. It's great looking at first!! But after the first burn (intense heat), it began to Rust!! We repainted it with another Higher Intensity Heat Resistant Paint. It's actually a Very Light Material, Yet the INTENSE ALL-NIGHT FIRE Surprisingly DID NOT WARP Its shape!! So, it's worth it (for the money)!! You also have to ASSEMBLE all of its parts together such as the Base to the Bottom Frame (with large bolts and nut, also small bolts and nuts) They do supply the tools needed to use. ... show more

Took hours to assemble but looks nice when complete. bit of a pain to clean (you have to shovel ashes out vs pushing water out to drain inside debris. Otherwise, does the job for a good price.
