Material appears to be a durable material that is used on most floor mats. Fit is a little off especially around the arm-rest cup holder area. The velco backing will not stick around the curve areas making it look somewhat sloppy. The areas around the rear (nearest to the truck) fits well. If you have the cargo privacy cover, you will be ok as most will not see the sloppy areas. Installation was pretty straight forward. Just line it up and use a little pressure so the Velcro will stick, then work from back to front along the curves. Also one thing to keep in mind, the right cover does block the subwoofer if that’s important to you. So far, I noticed little sound quality difference. These are pretty decent -- they use strong velcro to hook on and are molded well to fit. The velcro does rip up the fabric a bit, so be careful when putting it on so you don't have to adjust it much. I also added a cargo net to my MDX which adds bolts higher up -- this does not have cut outs for them, so if you have a cargo net you'll need to drill holes carefully in this piece as well.
