  • Great projector for $200
This projector for the price of $200 is really great value. The quality, features and specs are all worthy are 5 stars for the price. I have had a few other projectors and used the Yaber pro V7 since 2021 when I got it. I have had no issues with either projector and really like the company and their products reliability so far. The process V9 improves in pretty much every area compared to the V7. The V9 has a larger screen. The automatic screen correction and auto focusing are great features that work really well compared to the old one. The screen is larger than the old projector, brighter and more clear. The build quality is nicer feeling and looking and it is smaller. The most noticeable improvements are the speakers, which are not the best but preform perfectly fine for movies and good enough for music. The volume isn't the loudest but is plenty loud to get immersed into the movie. This quality, clarity and volume are a major improvement compared to the old projector. For an even better movie experience definitely use a soundbar or speakers but the built in ones work well. The other most noticeable improvement is how noisy the projector is. While the fan noise is still loud, with a movie playing, even with the projector on a shelf a few feet from my head, the sound was not distracting and when focusing on the movie and it was easy to forget it was there at all. If you are intentionally listening for the projector noise you will hear it though. This is a major improvement on the old projector which was so noisy that it took away from the experience of the movie, which is not at all the case for the V9. In Summery The projector is bright enough to work well at day time in a not so bright room and works especially great at night. The User interface, remote, connectivity, auto correction and auto focusing all work great. The most improved aspects from the pro V7 are the clarity and volume of the speakers, and the projector being significantly less noisy where the movie experience is not impacted. For the price of $200 this projector is a great buy and the company has been great so far. I think that in regards to this price point the projector deserves a 5 star rating. ... show more

  • 7 Reasons Why I Couldn't Give This Projector Five Stars (You Won't Believe #6!) (jk)
Color: Gunmetal Gray
For the price, this projector is amazing. That said, I can’t give it a full five stars for a few reasons: 1. The fan is louder than I expected. I assumed a laser projector would run quieter, but the fan is still pretty noticeable. 2. The UI is janky. In 2026, there’s really no excuse for menu text that feels this sloppy and unproofread. (okay, that might not be a word, should've proofread this.) 3. Wi-Fi was a pain. It would not connect properly to my combined dual-band 5 GHz / 2.4 GHz network. The only workaround was creating a separate 2.4 GHz network. I have plenty of other 2.4 GHz devices that handle this automatically, so that was frustrating. That being said, I wouldn't even use it because... 4. The onboard smart system doesn’t look very good. The image coming from the built-in interface looks noticeably darker than it does from an external source. 5. Motion processing looks bad, even with MEMC off. There’s still that soap-opera-style motion blending. I was able to improve it by using a 4K Apple TV and setting it to 23.976 fps / 60 Hz, but that’s more of a workaround than a real fix—it forces everything to conform to 24FPS, which I'm cool with, but would rather have it honor the content's native framerate. 6. So don't bother connecting the K300s to Wi-Fi directly, because external sources look WAY better anyway. The picture is brighter and overall better from the Apple TV than from the onboard system. 7. It doesn’t seem to boot directly into HDMI. Every time I use it, I have to power it on with the included remote, sit through the startup screen (which features a bunch of people drinking beers around a fire lol), and manually switch to HDMI before I can use my Apple TV remote for everything else. So overall, it’s a great projector for the price and absolutely gets the job done. But unless some of these issues get fixed in a firmware update, I’ll probably upgrade to a more pro-tier ultra-short-throw projector before long. ... show more

  • Quality projector at a cost effective price
Pleasantly surprised by how much value this projector delivers for the price. The picture quality is crisp and vibrant, even in moderately lit rooms, and the colors show really well. Setup was straightforward, we had it out of the box and projecting in under 10 minutes. The fan is quiet enough that it doesn’t distract from movies or presentations, and the built-in speakers are better than I expected. It’s lightweight enough to move around, sturdy and great for both home movie nights and portable presentations. We've been using the screen mirroring for a work project and kids activities for school. Overall, this projector offers a fantastic balance of performance, durability, and affordability. If you want solid picture quality without spending a fortune, this is a smart buy. ... show more

  • Very Nice Upgrade!
This is my third Yaber Projector and I love all three of them. This V9 is a very nice upgrade which I enjoy the auto keystone and auto zoom detection. It is small, lightweight, and comes with a nice carry bag to take with you on the go. The fact that it comes with a 3 in 1 AV cable so I can watch from my old school VCR and DVD player is absolutely amazing. Also while coming with an HDMI cord so I can hook up my computer and watch movies the somewhat newer fashion way. Speaker volume from the projector are just okay, but I use a Bluetooth speaker to help deliver a bigger punch in volume and add more of the cinematic sound which of course this projector has the Bluetooth connection to do that. Finally, the picture looks great, bright, and really shows off the details which makes movie night a special night. ... show more
