When I had first purchased the head unit it advertised how it had the ability to work with the OBDII unit. But now that I have it, it won't connect. I used this device with my XTRONS PST10ACH_L Android 10 head unit. Had no issues pairing and after a brief delay when ever the associated app is launched, the device connects to the app and data is available. Having the on/off button on the ODBII dongle is a nice touch to allow it to be turned off completely during extended times of vehicle non-use. The unit is a little taller than typical and as a result I had to loosen a piece of lower dash trim to allow insertion of the dongle, but once in place I was able to return the loosened trim piece to original position. ... show more

While this would link up to my phone without any problems, this would never link to the head unit which is what I specifically purchased it for since it wad advertised specifically to work with the head units by the same manufacture.

    • XTRONS does not have good technical support and there is some documents online but ...
Could not get the XTRONS ELM327 to connect to my XTRONS Stereo for my Benz W219 CLS. XTRONS does not have good technical support and there is some documents online but none pertain to my issue. Basically, the stereo sees the device and pairs to it but it never connects.
