I just finished installing the unit in my car today and there are some things people should be aware of when purchasing this: 1. This is not an 8k screen, I was not expecting it to be 8k but I think faulty advertising is wrong. 2. The mounting screws may barely be long enough depending on your situation. I was alone installing this and it was a miracle that I was finally able to get the first screw into the mounting holes on the bracket. I would highly recommend getting a longer bolt with the same threads to be a guide screw so you can get the rest in easily. 3. I looked in the user manual and online but had no luck finding what power the unit needed. the wire itself says B+ where my old unit said 12v so... I dont know what exactly it needs but luckly the power i had running to my old unit still worked fine, results may vary. 4. batteries not included for remote. you need 2 AAA. not really a big deal more of an FYI Update 1/30/2021 We used the screen twice to watch movies and when I went to turn one on today the screen was messed up. Attached a picture of what it looks like now. I'm not sure if it was from bumps in the road or just really poor quality but the screen did not last long. ... show more

Nice looking. Cannot use cellular hot spot to stream content in anything other than YouTube also this unit does not support apple airplay (iPhone X); it cuts off when trying to play movies from the phone. Also it comes with NETFLIX installed but it does not supports it so it has to be deleted. I was able to download VUDU and HBOMax but can’t stream unless is connected to home WiFi. The sound through the car radio using FM is very weak. Had to turn up the volume on the unit and my radio 100% to get mediocre sound; I think I may need IR headsets to get clear sound on the highway. Install was pretty easy for me, however, if you don’t know much about wiring, there are no instructions on how to wire it. I have in car WiFi and was able to connect and play movies. I also was able to connect with my vehicle Bluetooth. Unfortunately, I could never get the sound/ audio to work and had to return the item which was very frustrating. I tried external speakers, the speakers that are within the player, Bluetooth, and the FM transmitter. ... show more

We bought this and use a flash drive with our movies on it. It constantly stops and says buffering. We tried streaming and that was a waste of time, it will barely load anything that way. All in all, waste of money.
