Cleans water when you receive a filter I bought a 2 nd pump an filter combo cause last year I forgot to remove filter so it wasn’t usable so I went all out an bought whole new pump/Filter combo for $109.00 I thin it was well went to put pump on open box took lid off pump no filter just a black hole an I’m not paying for a filter it said it was to come with one so screwed having to use the small pump that came with new pool we got from Amazon! I don’t like the original pump that came with pool so I upgraded last year an this year whole new set up but this time they DID NOT SEND THE FILTER IN MY PUMP THAT I CLEARLY PAID FOR!!!!!!!! Plus the box was all dented! Bad packing! I will update if the seller MAKES IT RIGHT BY SENDING ME A FILTER!!!!!!!! Last year I had made a wonderful review cause I got my pump an filter both every thing needed, now this year they send me a pump with no filter then to top it off I can’t figure out what size filter to buy if they don’t send me the filter it was supposed to come with!!!!! Buyer beware so hard to contact seller I’ve tried 3 times b4 making this review don’t want anyone else to suffer a 400 water bill - or higher this has costed me over 600 dollars due to no filter Make it right I will change my review thanks Jodie!

Using this pump on a 15' Best way pool and is doing great, would give it 5 stars except I can't seem to find a replacement cartridge yet. Has anyone found a cartridge for this unit. Will change/ update my rating once I find one. Other than that it's a great Pump and really easy to setup. It definitely moves some water. Update** Two months using the pump and it barely moves any water, I have kept the filters changed regularly. Sounds like the motor is starting to go or the impeller has an issue. Will be changing my rating. Thought I had found the right pump , guess I was wrong. NOT WORTH THE MONEY, DO NOT BUY. Seems like other people have had this same issue 😬😬

I bought a small 1700-gallon Intex pool for the kids. The pool itself had great ratings, but it also had terrible ratings for the intex pump they include with it. At the advice of some who left reviews, I decided to just get the pool, and buy the pump separately. One reviewer recommended getting this pump. I'm happy I ended up with this powerhouse. It does an amazing job of keeping the pool clean. Probably a bit of an overkill for such a small pool, but it keeps the water sparkling. It comes with a psi gauge so you can keep tabs on the health of the filter. I like to take out the filter and clean it once the PSI gets a little over 1. Taking the filter out and cleaning it is pretty easy and effective. Spray it with a house, and it becomes clean and works like new. My only complaint is the bleed valve. It's plastic. After bleeding the system, I ended up tightening the screw and breaking it. The seller was excellent at sending out a replacement free of charge to me. If you do plan on using this for your Intex pool, don't forget the 1.25- 1.5 adapters! This does not come with any house fittings or adapters. The fitting for this pump is 1/2 and the hoses that come with the intex pool are 1.25.

Broke didn’t even last a year the first month we had it. It started making an awful noise. It sound like a lawnmower and then it started leaking a month later.

Filters water. The gauge came broken so it doesn’t work. But other than that filters water. Doesn’t come with hoses or an adapter for the pool. Ended going to homedepot and lowes to buy separate pipe links and hoses.if I could return it, I would if I knew I was going to spend the money on separate parts. But you’ll be screwed either way if you pay for something cheaper at least this one works. Just beware you will need extra parts. 1 1/2 inch adapter to a 1 1/4inch in order to fit the pool.

The pump my pool came with was small and not very powerful. I had to change filters weekly. This pump has much more power. It has a large filter, debris basket, and a 1 way valve that keeps the water in the pump while doing filter cleaning etc. I didn't have to replace the filter, just cleaned it occasionally with the water hose.

This thing is awesome. I haven’t had any issues and my pool has been crystal clear since buying this. I have had it now for about 3 months and it works like a charm. Only thing I wish it had was a timed plug but I just use my own. Also can’t seem to find a replacement filter anywhere for it so just gotta keep it clean!
