Great so far
Size: 1 HP
This pool pump seems to be well made. I love the flip up plate instead of the type you unscrew to remove leaves and debris. Two months in and so far happy. It has a toggle button for low and high speed. Low speed is really low. I run on high speed and it moves water. My old pump ran very hot and burned some electricity. This new one runs at like 85 degrees, and it shows on electric bill. Priced right. You do need some basic electrical skills to install, and a little plumbing skill to connect PVC. I believe it comes with an electrical plug, but my system requires straight wiring. So I just cut off plug and connected to my existing wiring. It had a 220v plug. Flip your electrical breaker off before installing.

Don't buy this pool pump.
Size: 1.5 HP
Don't buy this pool pump. It rained almost every day after installation and the pump stopped working after a week!!!! The pump I had before lasted 25 years.

love it!
Size: 1.5 HP
I have had two name brand pumps in the last 14 years, they are pricey. I wanted a pump that would not cost a lot and do the job that I want. This pump exceeded my expectations. It was somewhat easy to install. I had an electrician put a wire on, it did not come with one. 230 volt. It took him about 5 minutes. Then I installed it. It has two speeds, so I ran it on high the fist day, then switched to low… low speed does the job and I expect my electric bill should be less. I am also impressed with how quiet it is. I like it better than my other two pumps. Actually, I like it A LOT better than the name brand pumps that I had. I have only had it two weeks. So far, I am very pleased.

I was told no factory warranty.
Size: 1.5 HP
Yes, I was told if I wanted a warranty, I should have purchased one from Amazon at checkout. But they did offer to send me a link where I could "buy" parts that "might" fix this pump that had never been used. So for $20 I got those parts and had them installed...annnnd the pump still spews water out the bottom. I'm looking for the -5 star rating here.

Pool Pump
Size: 1 HP
Pump was delivered earlier than expected, adapter unions made it easy to install, Nice to speed option and very quiet operation. Worried about buying a foreign made pump, but so far the quality and operation efficiency is impressive.

Great pump for the price
Size: 1.5 HP
Pump came in with shipping damage to the rear plastic cover, I contacted the manufacturer and they shipped the parts within a week. Recommended better packaging.
