I've really enjoyed this powerful scan tool. I've sold off some of my older ones and wanted to treat myself to a new upgrade. I felt this was the best fit for my needs and boy was I right. This scanner is much faster in every way possible. I just did 113 updates I believe it was tonight and it just went right through them it will download and install multiple files all at once which my smaller units would one go 1 at a time. So that was pretty impressive to me. I've been having some trouble on one of my work vehicles that I couldn't seem to scan though due to a bad wire adapter on the vehicle itself which I have no fixed and decided while using the scanner tonight that I would drop a review about my experiences with it. It really does scan everything you can think of on the vehicle and has a stack of special features available too. I just really enjoy this upgrade so far. It's been about 2 months I believe now and no issues at all.

A30Pro had to do update and stuck in boot loop and unit is still under warranty but there seems to be no product support. They are refusing to address the problem so now I feel that this unit will also fall in the don’t give a crap file if it has a similar problem. Updating progress February 26th 2025 as I said I would do. I am simply giving this a better rating now (from 3 to 5 star) because the A30PRO XTOOL did finally get fixed. All the stars go to the technician and Mrs. Phoebe in XTOOL Direct department and does not reflect in anyway the trouble you may still experience in finding help. This D9 Pro is however functioning very well in itself and therefore deserves a 5 star rating. The A30Pro is also an outstanding product and should not be overshadowed by customer service shortfall.

most special features don't work. this is the first expensive diagnostic tool I've ever purchased. and it's really quite disappointing. I've had it for a couple years and even though it gets hundreds and hundreds of updates they don't to improve anything. 80% of the time any attempt to run a special feature results in "failed to initialize". or "communications failed" type errors. it doesn't show every available option from the BCM. i often find myself just going back to my regular simple scanner. I guess I'll have to save my money again and find something better next time. not to mention that the underlying tablet has location services permanently on. so who knows what they're doing with that.

Customer service finally stepped up and fixed problem So I am changing my review to 5 star. Thank you. Disregard my previous review. Chyntia , customer service was very helpful. Most expensive paperweight in my collection. First of all I bought in during Chinese New Years. To start using it I need to registered. Nothing worked. Technical support was not existent, I just got an automated responses. Finally celebrations was over. And some one start responding with stupid advice how to register an account. Definitely person on another end was not reading or comprehends what I was writing. And response comes with 24h+ delay. And nothing was advertised worked as supposed. Mercedes programming and coding can only load the same calibration module already had. The same is with coding. Mercedes key programming is a joke. I was managed to get a key password once after numerous messages, something wrong and I have to confirm every time to proceed further. Renew engine, ISM , TCM modules - Zero success. When I wrote to support about problem with ME9.7 I got question back after 24 hours what is ME 9.7. Sorry guys you are in wrong business if asking such question. Autel is much more practical in most cases. Device have only one USB port with necessary for charging. TO charge device and connect programmer by USB - no go. If you are trying to used it and device is discharged - bad luck, charge couple hours and you can use it again. Stay Away!
