I got this via Amazon Vine to help level our on-site Connex storage unit. It was already positioned correctly, but has settled since initial installation. Before splurging for the "Multi-Pack", I figured I'd try the single-pack first via the Amazon Vine offering. Moments into the leveling effort, I regretted only having one. These were strong, easy to position, & perfect height for our bottle jacks. But a second one would have made the whole operation easier. The welds seemed good w/o the major defects found in other cheap thick steel products. The biggest downfall of this product is the price compared to capacity & compared to other available products. A quick look around will yield many lower-cost items of near identical functionality, but w/ much higher capacities. So, from a functional standpoint, these get 5 stars. But before ordering this product, I'd strongly encourage you to price-check for similar and/or higher-capacity options first. You may very well get a better product for the same or slightly cheaper price.

I own 40 acres of Juniper out in the middle of nowhere. I have a couple of shipping containers on that property to store stuff. I leveled one of them using a high lift jack and, based on that experience, I would recommend that you not try that approach. I got this piece of steel to level the other one. It is much more robust than I imagined it would be. It weighs 12 lbs 11 oz. The paint or powder coating is well done. It fits into the slot on the bottom corner nicely. Using a hydraulic bottle jack it is easy to raise one corner until the level shows that the container is level. No slipping, No jack handle kickback to worry about. This is the right tool for this job. Highly recommended.

Good heavy duty jack lug with improved handle over others in my opinion. The extended top nubs help with the cornerblock being slightly further out than the rise just past the weld seam. It also creates a sort of slippery contact though since the friction of more contact is lost.. This is however very strong well built and capable jack lug. Overall the handle is huge improvement that helps with turning the lug into the corner block as well as increased ease of carrying ! The top plate extention does help with the jack - allowing more upward lift than the push that occurs when the jack lug tilts toward that gap.. To overcome the slip I use a thick rubber pad in the gap between corner block and the protruding top plate nubs. I actually use the pads with all my jack lugs to compensate for the surface irregularity - with this lug the nubs perfrom the same function and the pad help keep it from sliding around . Overall a like the design here som issues are solved and improved . I still hold to my constant opinion that a thicker fatter spindle that locks in firmly enough to hold the lug in place- one that prevents all in/out & side to side play once turned into place would be the ideal design. (for example - one that fits the way the lifting container jacks do) This function as well as several others I own but I definitely prefer the handle on this one and will say the spindle is shorter and fatter than most which does help control the lift ALOT. EVEN though I understand the top nubs I think they are very slipping slidy and recommend something grippy to keep it secure.. generally GRIP the container should be priority

This single Xprite Heavy Duty Shipping Container Jack Lug-44,092 LB Capacity is heavy-duty, fits in our freight container lugs easily and precisely, and we really like that it has a thick, large ring where the top part of a bottle jack would go. This functions well and keeps the bottle jack secure when lifting (or when you start off and your container is crooked already). We have four freight containers, and they are still settling, so this is a nice product to be able to easily lift and correct the problematic corner. We have another type of jack lug, but you can see the difference in quality when comparing the two - this one (the gray one) has a large, comfortable handle, the metal is thicker, and the paint coating feels thicker as well. If you've got containers, you need one of these (and a good-quality bottle jack too). Definitely a good value for your money, and comes with a 1-yr warranty!

I'll have to clean the powder coating off, cut out the impurities, and reweld it before I'll actually put it in service. $37.5/each is only a reasonable price if they don't need to be fixed when they arrive.
