Old house needs upgrades right. This is one that was sorely needed. The old porch light just doesnt cut it anymore. Replaced bulbs, updated the fixture,still no help. Along comes unique design of a solar spot light. Had three choices, went with the one called Tank style cause you know us Army people love our tanks 😆. It hold a charge reliably, my walkway to the front door is in some shade part of the day. So when I come home at 630am and this light is still on I know it's holding a good charge. Install is a little difficult, if you have a brick home make sure you have a masonry bit, you will need it. The screws provided along with the mollies, didn't hold up to the brick in my house, luckily I had some masonry screws and mollies that fit. The template provided is pretty accurate. ... show more

I got his thinking it will provide a lot of light for my side wall. But is more of an accent light. Also for the amount of solar panels it doesn’t capture a lot of energy, I saw this comparing them with other solar lights.

I actually wanted to try this light to illuminate the trunk of a palm tree. It ended up working pretty well, even though it’s not made specifically for that purpose. Hanging the light was a cinch with the provided screws. Once it was up, I just let the sun charge the battery, and the darkness queue the light. Keeping in mind that the light wasn’t designed for this application, it actually does a pretty good job. It definitely adds more light below than above, but it even lights up some of the surrounding trees, so it works out pretty well. ... show more

I received this in the "aircraft" style. The light is a warm white, which I thought I would mind since I'm more drawn to cool white tones for solar outdoor lighting. Pleasantly content with it, adds more depth to my yard with the warm in the backdrop of cool white tones from other lights I have installed. This light not only illuminates the area beautifully but also serves as a fantastic focal point. I plan on adding a little fairy garden on the bottom where the light has a wider focal view. Solar powered, so It's eco-friendly. Comes on automatically at dusk, pretty hands free for me who loves automation and not micro-planning things like landscape lighting. and adds a magical touch to my outdoor space, making my garden come alive after dark. This light is advertised to be attached to an outside wall, but I wanted to light up the back corner of my yard and attached it to a chain-link fence by attaching it to a small 2x4 piece of wood. It worked really well and I love the look so much, I’ve already ordered a second light. The soft white light really gives off a strong accent glow in the trees and looks really sharp. The width of light dispersed is adjustable on both the up and down part of the lamps, each can be adjusted separately. The light comes fully assembled, so setup just consists of two screws that you hang the light on, similar to a nail in the wall to hang a clock on. It took me less than 10 minutes to set up. One press of the ‘on’ switch and it was all set. It will automatically turn off and charge solar energy during the day and automatically light up at night. The high-efficiency LED lighting is bright, but soft bright if that makes sense. Very happy with this purchase. If you’re looking for a beautiful and bright accent light with a soft glow, I highly recommend this product. ... show more

Are we ever FINALLY happy to find a light that actually lights up Old Glory, especially, with the dust to dawn feature, and the battery holds up. After too much research looking to replace our flag pole light for our American flag, we came across XmnSoly Fence light. We looked at said impressive technology, with multi-directional solar panels, and adjustable shutters to adjust wash of light, top and bottom... and thought.... very cool. I pondered, then thought what a great idea for our flag pole light. Everything else we looked at for our flag pole, wasn't quite what we hoped for, especially for the low price. Where can you find a flag pole light for this price? The bottom line: we are extremely happy, we thought outside the box, as when we came across the XmnSoly fence light. I know that I will never miss the hassle of installing an overhead light. This light is well made, with solid and beautiful engineering. Even though the outdoor sconce is lightweight, it sits firmly against the wall and looks great from every angle. It does not have the greatest solar pickup panels, but the panels it does have looks fantastic. You cannot tell the outside of this light has solar panels for its exterior walls (even up close!) It does not last a full 8 hours on a full charge, but I was never up or even outside 8 hours after I go to bed. ... show more
