This is great and works as suggested. I have no experience in anything related to installing a light fixture. This took me about 15 minutes, and worked immediately. For most fixtures like this, there will simply be 3 wires from your wall that you match up with the fixture. That is the case here. The product was marketed to work with Alexa, so I didn’t expect it to work with Google Home, which is what my entire home is set up on. However it works seamlessly with Google home, and you can change the light colors and turn it on and off, set a schedule, etc. using your Google home interface. The lights is extremely bright, much brighter than the fixture I removed. It almost looks like it’s daylight directly in front of the light during the night when the light is on 100% brightness.     • Cheap looking, overpriced, terrible app....

I was very excited to receive these as they looked very stylish in the listing photos. When I opened the box I was disappointed to see how cheap they look in person. The bases are plastic, as are the lenses - and cheap looking plastic at that. The exposed allen screws for mounting add to the cheap look. At any rate, I decided to soldier on and install one of the lights. Installation was a bit frustrating. The wires from the light are only three inches long which makes installation hard to do, even if you have long wires coming from your box. Furthermore, the mounting bracket doesn't include a ground screw, so I had to steal it from the light I was replacing. Once installed, I spent over an hour trying to get the light to connect through the XMCosy app. It never connected, and the app froze multiple times. I was about to give up, but decided to try to connect it through the Gosund app, which I already had. That one worked right away. Once connected it was easy to set the color, brightness, etc. I am going to take these down and go back to my previous lights. They just look so cheap on my nice home. These are overpriced for how cheap and plasticky they are, and the app is a nightmare. Hard to recommend. ... show more

This is a beautiful set of bright, good looking outdoor wall lights that work and function well. They are bright, but be aware that brightens are color depended. Not all colors are as bright. Alexa controls the lights effortlessly! The installation was fairly easy, but the lights have very short leads and if you don't have long wires in the existing box, it makes it a bit difficult. Also, the side nuts to secure the lights to the bracket take a little away from the beauty of the design, in my opinion. They should have provided flat screws to compliment the beautiful cleanness of design. The light fives a beautiful effect on the wall, not as good as their pictures, but, nevertheless, beautiful. ... show more

We are re-modeling our patio area and wanted some smart lights. We wanted something to work with either HomeKit or Alexa. We have both, but this one works with Alexa and Google assistant. My first impression is the light was heavy. The black part is all metal. The white light cover is plastic. It’s a three-wire light. Black, white, and green. The color changing lights and syncing with music is really cool. The app is easy to use and makes changing the settings easy. There is no physical remote. You can only control it with voice (Alexa), or the app. There is many colors to choose from and even color themes. I am looking forward to seeing these in action when it comes time to install the lighting. ... show more

Wow! These lights are a great value! They have some of the coolest functionality that I've seen in a set of outdoor lights. The instructions are detailed and helpful...you receive a full booklet to guide you through the various functions and app. My favorite features are the ability to provide light directly in front of the fixtures as well as up/down lighting and the ability to change colors! Easy to install. Nice modern stylish boxy design. Colors are awesome! Great for holidays or even replace old wall sconces inside with a classy look. Wiring is basic. I've had others of this brand and they are reliable. Would recommend!
