The bike shipped with a defective controller. Was getting power cut-out when activating the throttle. After a brief email battle, the company sent a replacement controller. The bike is good quality however beware: The controller is only 23amps and the motor appears to be about 1000W. Acceleration off the line is so slow you can make a cup of coffee before the thing gets up to speed. Top speed once achieved on flat ground is about 30 mph. Front chain ring is small, so you can only pedal ot about 15-20 mph then it is throttle only... Hill climbing is terrible. Torque is no better than an equivalent 48V ebike. Plan on pedaling very hard up steep hills. Tires are super thin and squirmy. Scary at 30 mph. The bike suffers from speed wobbles, just like the first version of the wired freedom before they beefed up the rear suspension linkage. The display and brake cables are not long enough to modify this bike with BMX handle bars. We assumed and lost on this idea. If you think you are getting a wired freedom at a discount....think again. I feel like this company is using deceptive marketing because the specs that matter are not published. So you asume, and then you find out the hard way. I still think it is a good ebike if you compare it to a 1000W 48V bike in the same category. but now you know... Should have just purchased the wired cruiser and been happy. ... show more

This bike is great, Excellent power handles great with the 24 in tires not bulky like the 26 in tires. Bought this for my wife who is 5’9 and she loves it.

Great bike! Plenty of power and it looks beautiful. The build quality is exceptional. I wasn't sure how I'd like the orange color but I'm glad I went with it. It really looks amazing in person! I'm sure you can find something faster or with a longer range but you'll end up spending a lot more money on it. No regrets with my purchase! I'd write more but I gotta go ride! ... show more

No clue what Brendan is talking about in his review I have had an entirely different experience. If he was expecting a Wired Freedom thats on him this bike is nearly a thousand dollars cheaper when you take taxes and shipping into account. And no it doesn't have a thousand watt motor theres no way I'd be able to get to 40mph with me weighing 225lbs. The one thing he did say that is somewhat correct is the throttle has a safety to where if starting from a complete stop it comes on progressively not all at once you learn to live eith it I wish it wasn't like that but that is the only negative sbout this bike. I haven't had any wobble like he talked about I've seen a couple people say that but its def not the majority. I think this bike is a great deal for everything you get for the price. I have over 1300 miles on mine and its been reliable as heck only issue I had was with one of the pedals which I was planning on replacing oh and the kick stand broke during shipping but Cola @ Philodo sent me out new pedal and new kickstand asap the customer service has been excellent from my experience you may have to wait a couple days to hear back but they've always responded. Check out papa blue shirt on Youtube he has the Forrester model which is just about identical to the Falcon except it has an external battery and is not avail in step thru anyways he has tons of miles on his. He has had several Philodi bikes a couple of which have over 10,000 miles on each of them!!! Yes you read that right 10,000 miles!!! Honestly when I saw that he had a few Philodo bikes with that many miles I was sold and out in my order. ... show more
