I've purchased a few of XMCOSY+ light strings over the yrs to connect together and haven't had any issues besides the occasional burnt out bulb or two after a few months but I imagine that's pretty typical. They look nice and moody. I expect they'll last quite a while.

These bulbs are durable (so not flimsy thin glass) and decorative for your typical backyard use. You can connect multiple strings together using normal two prong plugs.

My fault that I didn't read the details around why these bulbs were claiming to be "shatterproof"....because they are PLASTIC BULBS. The bulbs look ok and they light up just fine...though, you can tell by looking that they are not glass bulbs...so, my concerns are: 1. How will the plastic bulbs hold up in the Arizona heat outdoors? 2. How will the bulbs look over time? Will the plastic get cloudy? 3. How well will the wiring hold up? It also claims to be for outdoors, but it looks and feels just like indoor wiring cords. POSITIVE POINT: Because of the plastic bulbs and the lightweight wiring, it is nice that the setup doesn't weigh a lot, so it is easier to hang. ... show more

Durable and affordable these outdoor string lights give our patio that extra pizzazz I’ve been looking for. After taking it out of the box I carefully started untangling the lights. I added the hooks to our porch before stringing them up. Set-up was easy, it only took about 15 minutes for me to get them hung up.
