Definitely a higher quality skimmer! I expect it will stand up well over time. It was worth the few extra bucks over cheaper skimmers I've had in the past. This one is more durable for sure and it works well with the long pole.

This is a small skimmer net. It does not scoop. The scoop end is too thick to scoop.

This fits a standard pool pole , but not much of the shaft extends in to the pole and only one locking pip set holds it in place. I feel this is a weak point and just a slightly longer shaft would have been much more secure. The main problem , however, is that the description is clearly misleading . It is not 15” by 16” even with the handle. At the widest point it is about 13” . Even the pictures in the description show this , so why is it still wrong in the main title. In use it works well. However , the short shaft and single set of nylon locking pins ( instead of two ) is a potential early failure. 3/5
