Kills room reflections and basic ambient noise. Works pretty damn good overall. I have a vocal booth in my studio, but needed a quick portable solution. I decided to try this, and I’m quite happy. Heavy blankets, decent quality, and surprising results. You could certainly add a few more blankets or panels, but this will work perfectly for an audiobook I need to record mobile. Of course, I’m using quite a few plug ins, but literal and perceived value are quite high. Already had one of my clients ask for the link. The included iPad and iPhone holders aren’t really any good, but you can easily replace these, put in a cool light, and you are ready to rock. This doesn’t fix a terrible environment- it simply cuts back a lot of room reflections and ambient sound. Need to air it out a bit, and will get a bit warm. Get your own screws if you are going mobile a lot. Sst up is a little weird at first. But you’ll figure it out. Would recommend at this price, and feel it’s a really good value.

TL;DR The basic design and cost is a great value. This particular brand should be avoided as setup is exceedingly difficult. But these style of booths are both better and more economical than DIY solutions. Pay attention to the reviews that mention how difficult this one is to pop-up. I'm a relatively strong guy and thought it would be fine. But it's SUPER awkward to expand and push up alone and the strength it takes to click into place is absurd. I timed it. Even after practice and careful thought about how to get it set up without injuring myself, it still took 15 minutes of solid struggle. Then I was too winded to sing for awhile afterwards. I bought another brand with the same exact design (you'll see many here with the same photos) and I easily clicked it up and it was ready to use in less than 5 minutes. Clearly poor QC from this company. The good: The blankets are heavy duty and it's nice to have them all sewn together as opposed to building a DIY PVC/moving blanket solution. Good, thick moving blankets are hard to find these days. I paid nearly as much just for blankets from U.S. Cargo. Purchasing PVC to build a frame penciled out to be more expensive than buying one of these booths and the weight and quality of the blankets is higher than the best quality U.S. Cargo moving blankets I purchased with DIY in mind.

This booth is terrible and only useful for the thick blankets it comes with. One of the bottom metal bars had a bunch of metal lodged into both of the screw holes, so I had to drill it out with a power drill. The top of the frame is not flat so the ceiling blanket sags. The instructions are terrible. It is not a firm structure. It leans on all sides with minimal force, like I’m breaking down a cardboard box to throw in the trash. And the nuts for the screws for the bottom bars are so small that you cannot screw them snug at the bar. They just sit tightened on the end of the loose screws poking out of the bars. And the bars look like they’ve been melted at the ends. I’m pretty sure it is not a 6’9 structure either. Maybe 6’6.

Arrived broken as one of the "pins" that hold one of the legs in the fully expanded, opened position was "popped in" / "impacted" into the leg and unusable. Not a bad design, overall, but you get what you pay for, I guess. I returned it.
