This arrived in THREE large boxes. It was a bit overwhelming when first opening everything. First thing to do is organize each piece to have everything ready to put together. Instructions are pictures without a lot of text. It shows each piece and hardware to use. Putting together was easy once I figured out the position of each piece. It doesn't really tell you front or back so you have to pay attention to where screw holes are located. I put this together myself. The couch would have been easier with two so one could hold the pieces together while the other put the screws in since the pieces are so long. No tools of your own needed. everything is provided. I find the cushions very comfortable and LOVE the high backs so you can rest your head back. The chairs turn and slide/rock. The couch is sturdy, but it's also pretty light, so easy to move around. It seems like it will hold up in our sunroom. I'm sure it would be fine in an outdoor environment. This was reasonably priced for the number of pieces you receive and quality of what you get. I would have liked it if came with two side tables, but the ottomans are great! Highly Recommend

The coffee table comes with a glass top that is only held on by suction cups--that's a terrible design. And ottoman cushions come with Velcro stickers that would keep you from flipping them over and they look cheap. I opted for just laying the cushions on top for now. I might get a different kind of fastener for those. I probably would skip all of the tables if I were going to buy it again and just get the chairs, couch, and ottomans but I don't think that's a package option. As others have mentioned, it's a pain to put together. It comes in 4 boxes and the chairs are spread across two boxes so you can't assemble it until you have all of the parts. The couch and ottomans come in the biggest box, and I (40 year old female) managed it myself, but it's pretty heavy/awkward for one person. Nothing is labeled so there's a lot of guess work as to what part is what, but once you get the first piece of furniture together it goes faster. The chairs are the hardest. I highly recommend a hex drill bit or a ratchet style hex key because a lot of the bolts are close to the joints and you can't turn the tool that it comes with all the way around. Now that it's together, I'm pretty happy. It's comfortable, and it looks nice. It's a fairly large set. If you have a big space and not a huge budget, it's a good buy.

I finally pulled the trigger and purchased this set. It is beautiful and checked all the boxes for what I was looking for. I'm a 65 yo woman and I put the whole set together all by myself. It took me two days to complete it but I had no problems. I thought the directions were great, picture's were clear. One thing to keep in mind is to only start your screws and tighten them down after you get all pieces in place. The only problem I had was the 2nd chair I tightened the screws a little too much so I struggled to get one arm on, I finally loosened some screws and that was all I needed to get it together. Many reviews stated it was hard to assemble but if I can do it by myself then anyone can. The quality seems to be very good. We live in Arizona so I'm hoping it will take the heat well. The only cons I can take away is that the fabric doesn't breathe well so your body does get quite warm and sweaty. But my thought is I'll just get some large bath towels and when it's really hot put them on. Secondly it would be nice if there were ties for the cushions so that they would be more secured in the wind. Over all I would totally purchase again!

I spent a little bit more on this set but I'm totally pleased with it it was easy to assemble my wife loves it it looks great outside the cushions are very soft and sturdy I fell asleep in the rocking chair after a round of golf totally recommend this set

Only put the couch together so far, to use for now since our house is being built. It’s very sturdy exactly as described. However, as most people said the directions are not great especially the ones in this box since there were none. Went together fairly easily since I am mechanically inclined, however, if you’re not, you may not want this set. But if you can figure out how to put it together, it’s a great set. I will update once I’m in the house and put together the rest of the set.

Best: the resulting from the straight-forward but tedious assembly. The result is beautiful, sturdy, and very comfortable. Worst, the supplied Velcro pads for the settees are useless; even when attached as described, the Velcro is stronger than the adhesive backing, so when you remove the settee cushion, the backing pulls away from the frame or from the cushion and the Velcro does not separate like it should.. My solution is a bit of a Rube Goldberg. I bought one-inch webbing and four corresponding buckle-sets. once cutting to length, II sewed over the ends of the eight pieces (fabric glue would have worked fine) and tucked the end through the space between top and sides. before fully-tightening those screws. As you can see in the photo, I blew it by buying royal blue webbing instead of navy-blue. Maybe I'll get around to changing that.
