XDP Recreation Free N' Swing Swing Set, Gray The Free N' Swing Set is part of the Galvanized Steel Frame Line up from XDP Recreation. Galvanized Steel for Strength, Safety and Durability. Galvanized is a Protective layer of Zinc on the Steel Tube that requires no maintenance, rust free, for many years. The Free N' Swing - Swing Set is a 5 station, 4 leg frame swing set that accommodates up to 7 kids. It includes 1ea-Swing, 1ea-Stand-R-Swing, 1ea-Super Disc Swing, 1ea-See-Saw, and 1ea-5' Wave Slide. Also included are Foam Frame Leg Pads for Safety. The frame legs are 2” diameter x 20-gauge wall thickness, top bar is 2” diameter x 20-gauge thickness. Our Adjustable Height Chains have Safe-Touch PVC Chain Covers on the Blow Molded Swing Seats for no pinch.The Swing seat accommodates one rider, the See-Saw two riders, the Super Disc Swing seats two riders and the Stand-R-Swing allows one rider to sit and swing or stand swing. A quality well made swing set and value for the money. The many nuts bolts washers and plastic caps are cleverly placed in separate bubble packs letter numbered for each individual item to be assembled! This swing set took about 7 hours to assemble by myself stopping for occasional breaks. I recommend following each step by laying out the nuts, bolts washers and hardware only for each step only! Double checking the drawings for location of bolt holes for proper alignment. Also not to tighten up until your sure everything fits correctly or you will end up having to loosen bolts to fit and align your next step correctly! ... show more

My grandkids are 2, 3, 4 and 7 and we’ve all had so much fun on this swing set! Even I have fun going down the slide and I weigh 175 pounds! No - this set is NOT for adults so don’t expect to get on the swings - but it’s PERFECT for the kids! You have to buy a separate “ground anchor” set ($13.00) to ensure sturdiness. All is well worth the price for so many hours of fun. I love it! The teeter totter is too low to the ground so unless they are 2 and 3 - don’t expect much out of that. NOTE: take the time to fasten the first two beams SECURELY - meaning tightening EACH screw a LITTLE at a time - going back and forth on each screw to ensure the tightest fit possible! These two first beams are the BACKBONE of your frame. To have it loose because you are rushing is to have a WEAK frame. Do the same for EACH step and your set will be VERY sturdy. No matter what - you’ll STILL need to check the screws for looseness every use. It’s not the strongest set you could get - but for the money spent - you will get at LEAST 5 years of fun! I cover mine with a large tarp when not in use. It preserves it against the elements. Then I discovered the tarp keeps the grass from growing underneath and the dirt will be quite messy so I removed the tarp - let the grass grow back - and 3 years later I now have a one year old enjoying this set which has weathered even a hurricane and the kids ALL continue to enjoy it! ... show more

I'm writing this as we are preparing to upgrade our daughter to a larger swingset and pass this one one to my sister who has younger kids. This was such a great, affordable, little swingset to have and my daughter has spent hours on it with family and friends. I know some people have complained about its durability, but we have had no issues with it in a year and a half even after moving. We've had kids from the age of 4 to 13 swinging their hearts out. With that being said, I would still exercise caution based on the other reviews. A few notes: We did install stakes when we set up and it definitely needed it. It was so lightweight that even two four year olds swinging could make it come off the ground. The teeter totter was almost too small for my four year old and she quickly grew out of it. When we moved last year we never even attached it. Would be great for a toddler though. ... show more

Exactly what I wanted. We'll made and complete. Comes packaged in one box. Fairly good instructions but still some attention to details are needed. I put it together in my basement, then partially took it apart to travel. Highly recommend taking time.

The swing set itself is great. It is well made- very sturdy. I Loved that my children loved it. Please note that the swing & slide width is narrow made for children under 6. Still good size for my children, though. :) The only things that I was disappointed on was the instructions as is with most things you have to assemble. They instructions were lacking information. You really have to look at every detail on the picture. The black coverings for the bolts continued to break so we ended up not using them.
