So I’ve been having my eye on one of these for quite some time now and finally took the plunge to get it! I’m giving this 5 stars for the overall feeling of it but let me break this down. The box it comes in is pretty lightweight, it was packed well and fairly easy to put together. Once you figure out what direction it’s easy to do as one person. The instructions are mostly common sense. That effing chair though makes you want to rethink your lifestyle! I’m a slim yet thick woman so I have hips and thighs and I was reminded that everything is not for everyone! For the love of God start sending this with an actually bigger chair because it would fit just fine, but this thing digs into your legs rather uncomfortable when you’re trying to enjoy a nice long steam. Once you get past that part, this fabric box of zipped up joy is amazing!! You really get your sweat on in here without it feeling overwhelming! At first, the steam was not really producing, but I did not realize that the top to the water steamer kept popping up because of the built-up pressure and so you need to press down and twist. That top gets pretty hot and so do the tubes so you wanna make sure that this is done before you start it up. AfterI fixed this the stream was immediate!!! I also don’t know why I was finding myself thinking that maybe that top to the little white disc that goes inside with you needed to stay off because it looks like no steam will come out but leave it on works perfectly. With it fully zipped up I was also able to watch TV without any issue that you will find yourself wiping the window off quite a bit which to me as a small price to pay. You’re also provided with some citric acid packets, which maybe someone else knows what to do with them, but I have not a clue, and there are no instructions whatsoever concerning this. It would be really nice if everything that is sent to you was explained! Be sure to air this out properly. The felt in the bottom is a nice touch, but I can see this becoming an issue if not, taking care of properly. Overall, even despite that ridiculous chair, I still give it five stars because this helped me take self-care to a new level right in my own home!!

My husband really likes it. He says it works well producing plenty of steam that results in lots of sweating. After a good workout, he likes sitting in the steam tent to relax and feels it helps with recovery. He also feels it helps with stress and has a great calming effect. He mentioned too that assembly and disassembly is quick and takes less than 5 minutes after you’ve done it a few times. He’s very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend it for all of the aforementioned reasons.

Very easy to assemble. Easy to use and temperature is very comfortable. It's good to have a wash cloth inside to keep the bottom dry while in use to avoid water leaking. I am 145 pounds and chair is ok but bigger person will not feel comfortable. I can emagine to get in and out for bigger person will be pain in the neck. I personally love it and use it a lot

Update 3/10/25 - from 3 star to 4 star Originally rated 3 star. However, the seller immediately offered a refund after learning of my disappointment. For how fast they replied and for standing behind their product this earns them a star. I've had nightmares in the past. This was easy. TLDR Pre-heated for 15 minutes, spent 30 minutes inside at the highest level (9) temperature. Immediately after exiting I had to jump into a hot shower. IMO a hot shower is better than this device, however this can be a great low cost option for many people. If you use high quality steamers either in your shower, at a gym, etc., then this product is not for you. Take away I am disappointed in my own expectations, but for what this product is supposed to be I think it is decent. This is an extremely low cost option for a steam room that works, it just cannot do what I was hoping for and I want to give a fair review. Others may find this product to be enough, but it is not enough for me. Overall, if you don't want to spend thousands on a real steam unit that gets as hot as hell, this is an option for you. My experience I set this up inside my house which is at 73f, providing a warm environment for this unit. I stood directly over the steam unit for 30 minutes after preheating for 15 minutes at the max temp. My heart rate never came close to elevated and my core temp increased inconsequentially. I was warm, not hot, from the waist up and legitimately cold from the waist down. I was so cold immediately after stepping out that I proceeded to take a hot shower. Here is why I rated this 3 star: -1 star due to poor heat generation. Measuring the temp with an an oven thermometer, with the device at the highest point in the room, the temperature did not break 102f. -1 star due to poor heat retention. The zippers are low quality and allow heat/steam to escape. Pros Affordability Portability Easy install Lightweight Simple operation If you use shower steamers, the steam dispenser with the grate is absolutely perfect for those Cons Poor heat generation Poor heat retention Low quality construction, but you get what you pay for No health benefits for me. Others may benefit and that's great.
