  • Amazing and comfortable gamer chair with fabulous sound...if you don't use the wireless feature.
I love this chair. Bought it to have a comfy chair on the floor while on the computer and a bonus was that it came with speakers.....and vibration. Now I will say, my overall experience has been phenomenal with this chair. I don't have consoles, just PC, so all of the mess of cables that came with it went straight into my cables drawer. I tried the wireless out for a bit and realized what everyone was talking about in the reviews. If using with a computer, BUY A LONG 3.5mm CABLE!!! If you're a gamer, make sure your audio cables reach the chair. DO NOT use the wireless. It sucks and here's why: It has a constant, never ending, perpetual, hiss that varies in volume, culminating with a loud "scratch" sound. It will also cut out completely unless you crank the volume all the way up and wait a few seconds for the sound to return, only to have it go out again minutes later. I tried the wireless settings 1, 2, and 3 and none of them made the slightest difference. This is why I say, "DO NOT use the wireless. It sucks...". That aside, the speakers On the sides near the head give a pseudo "surround sound" effect and with the vibration knob up, I feel the sound. Even when people are talking, if they have a bassy voice, my butt can enjoy it. 8-) One caveat to the vibration, the speaker sticks out into my tailbone and after just a few minutes, begins to hurt. That is why I have a small pillow there now and everything's peachy. Still feel the sound no prob. Conclusion: Buy this chair. But if you can only use the wireless for this chair, I would find something else. Bluetooth would be great and I see there are models with that option. Buy those XRocker chairs if you need the wireless because this is not the chair for that. Other than that, this is one of the better buys as it has come down significantly in price and still provides amazing comfort and sound...if you don't use the wireless (I think I've made my point). ... show more

  • Enhanced XBOX ONE gaming experience!
I bought this for my husband for Christmas 2014. My husband is a true gamer and he loves this chair to death. Paid 211 for one of these. Glad I did!!! It's nice quality, not too big and fits just right in our small living room. It folds for easy storage too. We both love it so much, we went and bought a second one! One for me and one for him side by side in our living room of two TVs. (We like to play online together). It rocks back and forth like a rocking chair which is great when my toddler likes to sleep on us when we play on our XBOX One. The leather quality is nice...the sound quality is excellent and also great to use when watching a movie! It truly enhances and changes the experience and it can crank up really loud! My husband said the sound quality is amazing, "it puts gaming to a whole new level, you can really FEEL like you're in the game". Although the audio experience is excellent, I would rate comfort quality level a 4.5 out of 5, only because I've used the chair 2 weeks now and my butt shape has already imprinted in the seat. Don't get me wrong, IT IS ABSOLUTELY comfortable, but I just wish that the seat had a thicker and better quality padding. No biggie! Another small issue is that I like to sit with my legs up and crossed (indian style) and everytime I do so, i almost fall back. Now obviously the chair is not nade to be sat in like that, but that's just my personal issue with the chair. Take it from me, just do NOT fold and cross your legs in or you may fall back! Lol. No one nornally sits that way in the chair anyway, so it's just my personal struggle. I just have to sit properly like everyone else :) all in all, It's been a great buy and we happily just purchased another one. Oh! This chair FOLDS which is also awesome! My 5'11" 180lb. husband loves it, my 10 year old nephew loves it, and I love it! I recommend for anyone! ... show more

  • Good gaming chair; Pricey, but competitive with similar models
The X Rocker Pro Series H3 is a very well rounded gaming chair, with plenty of features that other similar models do not have. This chair has 4 speakers, a sub-woofer, additional vibration motors (think rumble packs for your bum and back), with what I like to call Semi-Wireless capability. One thing I find annoying about all manufacturers of similar chairs, is that they call them "wireless". This chair and many others like it, require a power chord to power the chair. It is only "wireless audio" capable when you use the wireless transmitter. A true wireless chair with a rechargeable battery would be cool, but I assume the price of the chair would double as a result of putting a battery in it. First the negatives about this chair, which are really just minor gripes. The power chord is short. Hopefully you have an outlet close by. An extension chord will work for those with a lack of outlets in proximity to your prime gaming angle in front of your TV. Or buy a longer chord, though this is not something you will want to hear after purchasing a $159+ chair. Save yourself some funds and get out an extension chord. Likely most people already have one floating around. Luckily for me the chord is just long enough to get to my prime gaming spot in front of my TV, which is mounted about 4 feet high on the wall. If it was another foot high, or mounted above say, a fireplace, I would definitely need an extension chord to get back far enough for the best viewing angle. Second negative is the speakers max volume and quality. I will be honest, I don't often use the audio with this chair. I have a 7.1 gaming headset which dominates anything this chair puts out. The speakers are fine and get moderately loud, but I was hoping for a little more. The sub is actually pretty decent for a 4" woofer. It is much better than my previous gaming chair, which only had 2 speakers and a sub, but you are not going to be blown away by the sound. Stick with a gaming headset, if you have one. The securing clip for the seat back had a bent housing where you thread the clip through. Looks to me like the base the clip slides through got bent while shipping. Last negative comment I had about this chair was the rolled lip on the seat cushion, which is in a somewhat awkward spot, at least for me. When I sit far back in the chair, this rolled lip is not comfortable. I need to scoot my bottom forward to not be annoyed by it. It is not a deal breaker, but it makes me feel like I am sitting on a pencil if I have my butt too far back in the chair. Maybe the lip will get broken in over the next few months. Once in the proper position though, this chair is extremely comfortable. Now the positives. I like that the chair is all black. I am 37 and a pretty avid gamer, so I didn't need or want something with 10 different colors. I wanted something that didn't look out of place., and this chair flies under the radar compared with others. I have sat in this thing for 4-6 hours every other night, and have been completely comfortable. The speakers are okay. The sub is surprisingly powerful for it's size. I wasn't sure about the vibration motor, but on occasion, I have used it. I don't think it adds much to the experience, but others may think so. What I like best about the chair is that it is comfortable, compact, and not flashy. I have only owned it for about a month and a half, but I use it every time I game. Some things this chair could have used...padded armrests and a USB port or two. The armrests are okay, but padded armrests would have been an improvement. Another X Rocker I looked at had a USB port and that would have been great as an option for charging a phone or a controller. Honestly I cannot believe more gaming chairs in this day and age don't have at least 2 USB ports standard. To sum up, this is a very good gaming chair. It is comfortable, has a decent amount of features, and has met all of my expectations. Negatives like the length of the power chord, the bent clip housing, and the lip on the seat cushion are minor and easy to live with. It is pricey. I got this for $159 and with a gift card, I got it for only a few bucks out of pocket. I would not have purchased this chair when brand new and in the 200+ range. Few chairs in my experience are worth that price. With a longer power chord, padded armrests and a usb port or two, this chair would have gotten a 5 out of 5. ... show more
