  • Exceeded all of our expectations - really a nice gaming chair!
Style: Pro Series H3
I was a little worried about this when we placed the order. It has good reviews, but there are some reviews that had me wondering about the quality. Well, I can ASSURE you that the quality on this is VERY HIGH for the price and greatly exceeded my expectations. This chair feels very well made and has high quality, thick leather - not a thin veneer or anything like that. It looks VERY good quality, the stitching is great and looks and feels like high quality leather furniture. Next up is the sound and electronics. I was VERY worried about this aspect of the chair. It seemed very possible that the chair might be fairly well made, but that the electronics wouldn't be high quality or the sound wouldn't be rich and full - but the speakers sound very full and have a nice, solid, firm and punchy bass (no long vibrating rumble, but instead it is powerful, punchy bass that is tight and hits hard and fast. If you are looking for a deep long muddy rumble, you will want to look elsewhere - this is crisp and tight. Please don't misunderstand, it isn't LACKING anything, it is excellent. On a scale of 1-10 I would give the audio a solid 8 points. There is some room for improvement, but it exceeded my expectations. There are four speakers that provide the stereo sound. The top pair of L&R speakers seem to do a large part of the work. The bottom pair add some ambiance. Then the subwoofer in the back of the chair also has a resonance chamber to make the bass even more pronounced. It actually sounds very good and isn't just some junk thrown in with wiring to get sound to all the speakers - it feels and sounds like there was some thought and engineering that went into the speakers. There isn't an EQ, but you can turn the bass up and down. So that sort of provides some degree of adjustment. One other neat feature is the rumble seat. You can adjust the degree of "rumble" but basically we leave it turned up to the max. It isn't overpowering. But it is cool and adds a neat feature that has the chair vibrate when there is an explosiong or if there is a loud punchy bass point in the music or sound effects. It sounds great. One thing we are really noticing in Fortnite is that the guns all have very distinctive sounds and it feels much more real when the guns sound so realistic. Also, the in-game chat is VERY clear and easy to understand. Very nice touch! I really thought that we might not end up using the speakers, but we have been pleasantly surprised with the quality. Another neat feature is the multiple method of hookups. It comes with several options. Ideally you would have a surround sound input, but this actually works well. We simply plugged the short headphone jack into the headphone output on the computer, and then plugged that into the transmitter that they provide. It takes 3 AAA batteries. It immediately connected with a very clear conecton. There are three channels to choose from, but channel one worked just fine for us. This method worked well for us and did not create any conflicts for us at all. The only problem we have encountered is that it sits very low. We knew this going in, and we thought that this would be ok for our setup, but now that we have it, we are wondering if we should have gotten a simiilar chair with a small round stand. But most of those models only had 2.1 surround sound and not the 4.1 version. Right now there is no way for us to report on longevity or how well made the product is over time - but I will report back if it falls apart anytme soon (TRUST ME, I will be back if it breaks... LOL) But at this time, I would absolutely recommend this chair to anyone asking me about gaming chairs - it has turned out to be nicer than we expected and seems to be well made and well designed and we are very happy with it. ... show more

  • Great chair
Style: G-Force
This is a great chair. Since I haven’t seen much for this I’ll give as much detail as possible 1. It is low to the ground, for someone who may struggle to get up normally this may not be the best. 2. Bluetooth speakers work great, has two side speakers by the head and one in the back. It sounds great. The volume can be adjusted from your phone or the chair directly. You can also adjust if you want all the speaker used or just the back one. 3. The cushioning is good. The seat itself is well cushioned and I could sit in it for hours. The armrests also have good cushioning but the can get flat quickly if your elbows are just on it so I try to push the cushioning around to keep it from getting flat. 4. It does fold, but I will say it does not help ‘save space’. Either way it is a good sized chair and folding the back will not make it much smaller. It is good if you want to put it away. I will note that at the site of the fold the leather is already creased. 5. It weighs a a good amount. When I was tracking the package it estimated it at 50lbs. I had to carry it up some stairs and it was noticeable enough to make me reconsider moving it around the house. 6. Armrests are good but a bit flimsy. When you install it has a warning that says it only supports gaming. Shortly after installing them they started getting loose and I’ve had to tighten them a couple of times. ... show more

  • Awesome Chair
Style: Pro Series H3
*Intro Being a successful guy I decided to splurge and treat myself to something for all my hard work lol I've had this bad boy for quite some time now, and it works great. *Shipping It came on time and in perfect shape way back when I did originally order it, so shipping wise Ace Bayou gave me no trouble and got here in perfect shape. *Failings The wireless audio transmitter Fails horribly, and just does not work, I threw it in the garbage, if the item really matters to you keep this in mind, that mine just flat out sucked, it had high pitched buzzing that would not stop no matter what medium I used, or what pour source; ac/batteries, I used. However I did not really want to use it because it reduces the sound quality anyway, so for me it did not bother me, take this into consideration though if wireless audio matters to you, because mine failed HARD, I also don't believe it was a fluke ether, it's just a really poor device, sorry but I'm being real. - 1 star *Pros Leather has held up/No cracking Zero Defects or Failures on all functions other than the wireless function Folds *Warnings Don't move the chair by the arms, it says so on it, you can damage it apparently, also don't put pressure on the arms, I never have and have never had any problems, *Random ramblings of fun Disclaimer "No one's forcing you to read this" The chair has no cracking in the Leather, it's still semi soft, and very comfy to use for me since I've got it, and it's been a while, I've done all manner of man stuff in this chair, and don't condition it, I just use and abuse it with my 6 foot 180 pound man body xD It has good padding but is firm, I hate soft things so for me this is a pro, it's very firm, the seat has a teeny bit of cushion, just enough for me to feel cozy, but not so soft that I get sucked into it, I hate furniture like that! So for me the Firmness is a good thing. I've also had no issues with the Vibration feature ether, it still works flawlessly for me and I blast it hard. How it works is you can adjust Bass, Vibration, and Master Volume. Without the Bass maxed I find the Vibration function does not activate, it also needs to be used loud for the vibration feature to work, basically Bass and loud booms cause a MASSIVE dual shock like rumble that is just awesome. It also has a headphone jack, so you can use it at night if you wish, what I do is hook a PS2 Yellow, Red and White jack into my PS3, then run the Red and White cables to the chair, I set the Audio to dual out HDMI and the Jacks from my PS3 menu, so I have my 7.1 sound system blasting, AND THE CHAIR! ALL AT ONCE! Watching Jurassic Park on Blu Ray with surround sound, and the chair at the same time is INSANE! At night I mute the Sound system deck, and plug headphones into the chair so I can play PS3 through the night without being an evil Neighbor, when using headphones there is no vibration or etc, it cancels the chair out, it can make you poop yourself legit if you unplug the headphones at night as it will come out full blast like an earthquake making the entire room quake and rumble if you pull the jack out by mistake at night lol The speakers do face away from you, but I don't find it bad at all, the thing can be beastly loud, and I can tell if the enemy is coming from the left or right, and my separate and unrelated to this product sound system covers true Surround sound so it's not an issue for me, there's two speakers near the bottom of the chair, two near the head, and one Sub in the back. Mass Effect 2, Doom 3, Unreal, and even Quake on my PC work wickedly great with it. It really is a treat when you feel the machine gun make your whole body vibrate as you hear that BLAM BLAM BLAM and waste fools lol Overall if you have the money to spare and you just don't care what people think of you, DO IT! Life is short death eternal, this thing is FUN! ... show more
