This robotic pool vacuum works well for my inground pool and was actually able to handle both fine debris and larger leaves without issues. I tested it in a pool that hadn’t been running over winter and was extremely dirty, so it had a lot of buildup to deal with, and it still managed to pick up a surprising amount of debris. It does climb walls and cleans fairly well overall, but in the stair area it did get stuck a couple of times. Outside of that, it navigated the pool reasonably well and even tries to correct itself when it gets stuck, although it can take a few minutes to do so. For a very dirty pool like mine, it would definitely require multiple cleaning cycles and charging sessions to fully clean everything. Because of that, I’d say it’s more ideal for regular maintenance cleaning rather than a full deep clean after a long period of inactivity. Even so, the debris basket filled up completely during use, which shows it was still doing real work. Runtime is about 120 minutes per cycle and battery has a 3-hour recharge time. It also includes a hook attachment for a standard pool pole, which makes it easy to retrieve from the water. The app is not required for basic operation, but it does add useful controls like cleaning modes, cycle timers, and more advanced “expert” settings for selecting floor and wall cleaning patterns. The app connection also shows the remaining battery percentage, which is helpful for tracking usage. The device itself will also flash yellow when the battery is low as a visual warning. I have not yet tested the other cleaning modes in the app, so I can’t speak to how reliable or effective they are. One limitation I do not like is that there is no option to manually “jog” or direct the device to a specific area or turn it off remotely through the app. However, both the app and manual do note that the unit cannot transmit or receive signals while submerged, so any settings or adjustments must be made before placing it in the water. The basket is easy to remove and clean, and it only fits one way—so if it doesn’t close properly, it’s usually just installed incorrectly. In my case, because there was a thick layer of slime buildup in the pool, it understandably didn’t clean everything perfectly on the first run. That was expected, since this level of buildup really requires manual scrubbing or pressure washing before a robot cleaner can maintain it effectively. Overall, this is a strong option for keeping a pool maintained regularly, especially if you don’t want to manually vacuum often, but heavily dirty pools may still need manual cleanup first before it can maintain efficiently.

This WYBOT cordless robotic pool cleaner ended up performing better than expected, especially considering the price point compared to some of the larger established pool robot brands. It cleans thoroughly, climbs walls reliably, and significantly reduces the amount of manual pool maintenance required. Cleaning Performance: The suction power is respectable, and it handled sand, debris, leaves, and fine sediment well during testing. The dual brush system helps loosen material from the pool surface effectively, especially along the floor and lower wall sections. Wall climbing performance was also better than anticipated. It consistently transitioned from the floor to the wall and cleaned along the waterline reasonably well without constantly slipping back down. Navigation and Coverage: Coverage appears fairly efficient overall. Like most robotic cleaners, it does not move in perfectly logical patterns at all times, but it eventually covered the majority of the pool surface adequately. The cordless design is a major advantage because it eliminates cable tangling and makes deployment much easier. Battery and Maintenance: Battery runtime was sufficient for full cleaning cycles in a standard residential pool. Cleaning out the filter compartment afterward is also relatively simple and does not require much effort. Charging time is somewhat lengthy, but fairly typical for cordless pool robots in this category. Pros: • Strong suction performance • Effective wall climbing capability • Cordless operation is extremely convenient • Handles leaves, sand, and sediment well • Easy filter access and cleaning • Good value compared to premium competitors Cons: • Navigation patterns can appear somewhat random • Charging takes several hours • App functionality feels somewhat basic • Larger debris basket capacity would be helpful for heavy leaf loads Bottom line: This robotic pool cleaner performs well for routine residential pool maintenance and offers a solid balance between cleaning ability, wall climbing performance, and cordless convenience. I’ve been really impressed with the WYBOT C1 Cordless Robotic Pool Vacuum. It has made keeping my inground pool clean so much easier and saves a ton of time compared to manual vacuuming. The setup was simple, and since it’s cordless, there are no tangled cables to deal with while it’s cleaning. I just charge it, drop it in the pool, and let it do the work. The cleaning performance is excellent for everyday maintenance. It picks up leaves, dirt, sand, bugs, and smaller debris very well, and the suction power feels strong enough to handle heavier messes after storms or windy days. I especially like how it climbs walls and cleans along the waterline, which many cheaper pool robots struggle with. The navigation pattern seems smart and organized instead of random, so it covers the pool thoroughly without constantly missing areas. Battery life has been solid for my pool size, and the robot usually finishes a full cleaning cycle on one charge. The filter basket is easy to remove and rinse out, which makes maintenance quick and simple. The app controls are also convenient for changing cleaning modes and checking the cleaner’s status. Another thing I appreciate is how much cleaner the pool looks overall after using it regularly. The water stays clearer, and there’s far less debris sitting on the bottom. We don't have the pool open at our property with it, so I will have to update this once we get it up and actually going. I play with a lot of appliances, and the Wybot stands out for its 3,038 GPH filtration power paired with dual PVC brushes, which are designed to make quick work of leaves, sand, and debris on the floor, walls, and waterline. This magical pool robot has awesome functionality as far as it does not just skim the surface of the water - it scrubs. It also features navigation with a gyroscope balancing system. The unit is designed with 4WD traction and upgraded motors to keep it moving across tile, vinyl, pebble, and mosaic without getting stuck. It starts with the walls and waterline, then finishes the floor. I think it's pretty cool that the unit cleans - really cleans - in a full coverage way, without me having to babysit it. I cannot fully comment on battery life, but it took only about 3 hours to charge. The unit itself looks beastly and serious and heavy duty, though aesthetically it has a clean black finish. It kinda looks like something tactical or like it's a mini submarine. I am easily amused, admittedly. Overall, the Wybot seems like a choice worthy of consideration If you want a pool cleaner that is efficient, smart, and saves time and seems fair as far as value. It has plenty of smart features and combines technical performance with convenience. Plus, it looks like a secret defense system for your pool. Recommendable for consideration to handle the work you do not want to do.

Moving away from a traditional hose-tethered vacuum to a completely cordless design has been a massive relief. Dropping it into the water is incredibly simple, and I no longer have to worry about my son accidentally tripping over a suction hose lying across the patio deck. The dual PVC brushes actually scrub the bottom of the pool floor rather than just passively rolling over the dirt. The navigation and climbing capabilities are genuinely impressive for a battery-powered unit. Thanks to the 4WD tracks, it effortlessly transitions from the flat floor right up the vertical walls to actively scrub the waterline. It runs for about two and a half hours on a single charge, which is plenty of time to cover our entire pool. The internal suction easily picks up the heavier oak leaves and fine sand that constantly blow into our yard, trapping everything securely in the internal filter basket. However, there is a practical limitation to keep in mind with the completely cordless design. Once the 150-minute cleaning cycle finishes, the specifications note it takes a full four hours to recharge the battery before you can use it again. This means if the pool is particularly dirty after a heavy storm, you cannot just let it run continuously all afternoon to catch up. You also have to remember to manually retrieve it from the water to plug it into the wall charger after every use. As long as you keep up with a regular cleaning schedule, the convenience of a hose-free deck makes it a great addition to your routine.
