I purchased the 4 cam solar powered system, Pros: It's an easy to install system. Both devices (cam and solar panel) each take 3 screws and install in min. with no wires to run. Within 2 days of installation with the solar cells connected all the cameras were at 100% charge and have remained that way ever since. I had an issue with one of the cameras and contacted the seller through amazon, I got a reply almost immediately asking me to check a couple things which I did and replied, there was a new camera at my door 24 hrs later. Excellent customer service, I couldn't ask for better. The system is very easy to setup and get the devices connected wirelessly. Excellent connectivity, I have the system base on the first floor of a 2 story house and it communicates with all the exterior cams perfectly, I can watch 2K stream from any or all 4 of the cameras and over the internet. The extra features are nice, panic alarm, 2 way intercom, canned recorded audible responses, detach alarm, and a flood light that's obvious to anyone around but it's not real bright, more for giving the camera better light. Good night vision, it's easy to make out what your seeing in the camera with a little bit of ambient light. Lastly not having to subscribe to a monthly account if you don't want is nice. I routinely view my security cameras from anywhere I happen to be at the moment. If I had a con, it would be the supplied camera mounts, they work best if you have a flat mounting surface facing the direction the camera is pointing. Otherwise if you need a extreme angle from the mounting surface the range of adjustment is limited. A small bracket works well to address that situation. I would recommend this system and seller.

One Year Update: I have had this 4-camera set for over a year now, and I am happy to report that I have not yet experienced any problems, and the cameras are working well. The best part about having these cameras is getting notifications of any movement when on vacation. The system allows you to shutoff notifications if you don't want to be disturbed, but you can always have the videos available to download and share if you want. Would gladly purchase again. So far, I am very satisfied with this Wuuk Security Camera System. At first glance, the cameras and the solar panel seems to be manufactured properly and with high quality material. The APP was easy to download and set-up and had several features that providie security and peace of mind. One of the standout features is its intelligent motion detection, which can differentiate between human and non-human movement. This reduces false alarms and ensures that I only get notified about activities that matter to me. Another fantastic feature is the added security of knowing the system will trigger an alarm if any of the cameras are dismounted. This provides an extra layer of protection against tampering. I also love the instant notifications I receive whenever movement is detected. It's reassuring to know that I'm immediately alerted to any activity around my home. And when I'm at home and don't want to be disturbed by notifications, I can easily pause the notifications by selecting the "Home" instead of teh "Away" status. The battery life of these cameras is also impressive. Thanks to the solar panels, I don't have to worry about recharging the batteries, as they stay fully charged. However, for those who might not want to install the solar panels, the cameras can be recharged by simply plugging them into the system's base. The batteries are long-lasting, providing several months of operation before needing a recharge. Finally, it was nice to have all the required hardware to install the cameras and the solar panels. I was also impressed with the international kit that would allow me to plug the base in 220 Volt system in addition to the 110 VAC I need, along with a thrid configuration that I am not familiar with. Having said this, I will provide an updated review after I have used the cameras for several weeks and will report any additional findings or concerns.

Installed the 4 cameras, solar panels, and wired the pro-doorbell pretty quickly. The app installed and worked decently. After adding the base unit and setting up accounts and such, the APP did not want to add devices until I performed the firmware update on the base unit. After that, adding devices worked well. Expect it to take a minute or two to add each device. It will appear that the system is doing nothing until the device is successfully added. Wiring the door-cam was a bit difficult since I had to use a dremel tool and carbide bit to carve out a recessed area in my wood siding for the wire nuts to reside and my 1960's 24Vac wiring insulation is very fragile. I did pull the door-cam off the mount once without using the removal tool and it didn't break anything. But if I need to remove it in the future I will use the special (sim card style) removal tool. Store this removal tool where you won't lose it. Installing the cameras and solar panels was very easy on my wood siding. I pre-drilled all holes for the cameras, doorbell, and solar panels to make them easier to mount and not hurt the siding or strip any screws. I tucked the wires for the panels under the soffits with just a small amount of wire exposed. I am left wondering how the USB-C connections are going to survive the cold and wet seasons. I placed 1 camera probably 80 feet or so from the base unit on a shed and it works 100% fine. I have a mesh router with 1 router and 1 base unit on the opposite side of the house, so there are no connection issues. Base unit is wired in with ethernet. I had to buy a switch to add the base unit, as the mesh router only has 1 ethernet port. The solar panels keep the cameras at 100% charge even though the panels are not directly in the sun and only receive light part of the day. Solar panels are made from some material that feels like fabric and are not heavy glass. The pro-doorbell does not have AI face detection (though I'm sure it's capable). The battery in the doorbell is slow charged by the existing 24vac, so it will also always be at 100%. The App works well most of the time. I had to power cycle the base unit 1 time just after I first added all the cameras or it would just show "no devices". Though it has not done that again, I have seen it say "no devices" for a second now and then, but it loads the cameras a second or so afterwards. Once the cameras load into the APP, it is pretty straight forward on how to configure whatever settings you like on each. You can set the detection area for each camera, make the LED come on at night when motion is detecte, and Set the cameras up to ALARM if somebody tries to remove them. They can record in 15sec or 30sec intervals to the home base. I usually delete the recordings daily. You can lower the resolution for each camera, but this does not seem to affect video loading times. You can watch 3 of the cameras at the same time, but the system all but crashes if you try to load a 4th camera in quad view. Don't even try to load that 4th camera in quad mode. Lowering the resolution does nothing to fix this. It will show you a bandwidth warning when you try to add the 4th cam to the quad view, but it really isn't a bandwidth issue. Detection works great during day and low light hours with some minimal notification lag now and then. At night, they are not the greatest in human detection. The LED comes on quickly, so it detects movement, but it doesn't always seem to see a human presence very well during the darkest hours of the night. I selected this brand because I can add up to 8 cameras to the base unit and the solar panels keep the batteries fully charged all the time. Two weeks in and everything is still working quite well. I'll return with updates if anything changes. The WUUK app always reports firmware updates as failed, but they never actually fail. The WUUK app needs updated to correct this.

I purchased the WUUK 2K Solar Security Cameras Wireless Outdoor, 4 Cam-Kit and have been very impressed with the overall quality. The cameras deliver clear 2K video, excellent color night vision, and I really like that they run on solar power, so there’s no need to worry about constantly charging them. The system is easy to set up, works smoothly with Alexa and Google Home, and the included 32G local storage means I don’t have to pay for a subscription. I did run into an issue with one of the cameras, but WUUK’s customer service was excellent. They responded quickly and provided me with a replacement within just a couple of days, even considering my location. That level of support gave me a lot of confidence in the brand. Overall, this is a great security system with reliable performance and fantastic customer service to back it up.

I bought the first set for my girlfriend’s house. Super easy to set up and connect to the WiFi. Solar panels have kept the cameras charged at all times. Easy to install and manipulate. The app is easy to use and manage and the cameras have good video and audio reception even far away from the router. I bought another set for myself with the doorbell for my house and this setup is also been working great. I was surprised how easy it was and how well they keep working compared to other systems I have used. Great product line. I would buy them again if I needed more.

I have been using Wuuk cameras for more than a year now. I started with a 2-camera and base station set. I love that Wuuk captures motion-sensed videos to the base station saving me from paying a monthly subscription even though Wuuk offers that as optional. The captured videos are 2K quality and saved to the base station. With a 32GB local storage, I can manually remove capture media as needed or the base station will automatically rewrite the oldest videos to capture new ones. I love the 2 cameras purchased in 2023 so much that I bought an additional 4-camera set in 2024 but now the set includes solar panels. I now have 6 cameras mounted, 4 of which have solar panels attached so I don’t have to remove the cameras to recharge. The battery lasts about 3-4 months before needing recharging. Solar panels, however, dispense with the need for recharging since they are always charged. Overall, I am satisfied with the solution. I can manage and view the cameras in real-time and review captured video from anywhere. It is easy to mount and set up the cameras and solar panels, and Wuuk provides all the necessary instructions including templates. Wuuk is certainly worth the investment.

I had high hopes for this system because I already own one of this brand’s doorbell cameras, and it works exceptionally well. The video quality is excellent, it’s reliable, and the no monthly fee is a huge plus. Based on that experience, I felt confident investing my money in this solar wireless camera system. Unfortunately, this product was a major letdown!!! Out of the four cameras included, three would not charge or power on at all, making the system unusable right out of the box. That alone is unacceptable, especially for a security product where reliability is critical. On top of that, I was also disappointed to learn that recordings are limited to 30 seconds, which significantly reduces the usefulness of the system. For something like home security, especially if you’re trying to monitor important activity, that limitation is frustrating and impractical. I purchased this system specifically to help monitor my mother’s home and ensure proper care, so reliability and functionality were extremely important. Unfortunately, this product did not meet those needs at all, and I’ll be returning it. It’s especially disappointing given how well their doorbell camera performs—I expected a similar level of quality here, but that was not the case.
