Description

What used to take all day can now be completed in a fraction of the time with the Worx LEAFPRO Universal Leaf Collection System. Hook it up to pretty much any leaf blower/vac on the market and suck up all the leaves on your lawn. You’ll have to stop to empty it far less than if you’re just using the bag that came with the blower/vac. And if your blower/vac has mulching capabilities, you can fit an entire large yard worth of leaves into one waste container and only empty it once when you’re done. That’s why we call it a no- touch high-capacity leaf collection system. The LEAFPRO is durable, with a hood made of tear-resistant material, a professional-quality 8-foot hose, and a multi-fit adapter that forms a tight seal with the output valve of 90% of the blower/vacs out there. It works with Black & Decker, Husqvarna, Poulan, Craftsman, Ryobi, Toro, Murray, and many more. And while it fits most of our Worx blower/vacs, this model is not compatible with the TURBINE Fusion. Check out the WA4057 model for use with that blower/mulcher/vac. It wasn’t so long ago that you needed a rake and an entire Saturday to clear a large lawn. With the LEAFPRO hooked up to your trusty blower/vac, you’ll be back on the couch before you know it.

  • Work better than expected, no issues clogging, even with wet leaves, and pine needles.
This was the second and last clean up of the year. I use my Stihl backpack Ghostbusters leaf blower. Put everything in a 10'+ x2'+ circle. Then suck them into the 30 gallon container. First pile took 4 30 gallon containers, second pile slightly smaller took two. Today these leaves were damp, other side of the house was wet and pine needles. The pine needles do take more effort, just because they're not so solid and don't vacuum as well. I bought the combo vacuum & bag with extended hose, & can cover. The mulching was just as good as a gas powered aggressive, I used on the first clean, but without all the bending over. This kit definitely saved a lot of time and a lot of back and knee pain. ... show more

  • Leaf Collection Solved
Last year I had to pay someone $350 to collect the leaves in my yard. This was in December when they were eager ly work, and after heavy negotiating. This year I wanted to find a more sustainable solution. I decided to use a blower/vac in combination with the LeafPro by Worx. Question was, which blower/vac and can I actually get this system to work? After a lot of research and video watching, it became clear the Toro UltraPlus was the best option. The CFM and MPH balance was best of available blower/vacs. I was very concerned there would be enough suction to collect all the leaves easily, but that needed to be balanced with the blowing aspect. The trivacs have higher CFM but the MPH are low. So would it blow well enough at a distance? The Sunjoe had slightly better CFM than the Toro but much worse MPH. The Toro impeller design looked way better than the Sunjoe too at grinding. I was thinking about the Worx Turbine Fusion but people said the impeller grinded too much and the dust was terrible. The other issue was connecting this thing to the LeafPro. I read the "universal adapter" could slip off and I should try to get the older version which had plastic connections specifically for other brand models (which turned out to be totally unavailable). Maybe it was just better to get a Worx blower instead? In the end, the reviews of the Toro were all so strong I decided to go for it and risk the LeafPro not working with it. Thankfully, the connection worked perfectly and was really tight with no real risk of coming off! The next issue was what to use on the other end to collect the leaf mulch. Most people were connecting the LeafPro to a garbage can. I didn't have one right sized for use with 55 gallon trash bags and didn't want to buy one unnecessarily. I saw someone had used this system with a Leafmate paper bag funnel and it worked for them, so I decided to try with the Leafmate designed for varying sized plastic trash bags. It also worked brilliantly! I was able to keep it on its side at first to collect the mulch and then after it was nearly full I turned it upright to collect the rest. The Leafmate just slides up the bag to hold the opening and connection to the LeafPro. This system was able to reduce a 20-30 bag job to less than 5, and what took 3 people half a day of tiring work took me 1.5hrs of blowing and 2 hours of vacuuming and I was not tired at all. These three items cost me $140... a total win! Tips: -Dont try to suck up too much, the vac will clog -The Toro can handle sticks and other non-leaf debris you may encounter (see photo), but it's better to remove them from the pile by hand as they can create clogs -When you do get a clog, try turning off the vac and just tap the tube against the ground the dislodge whatever is in there. Turn it back on and half the time it'll be able to suck whatever was in there out -Point the exit hose of the LeafPro away from you and downwind. A moderate amount of dust comes out of the mesh cover. -The weak point in the system if the LeafPro mesh cover. It will stay on the Leafmate pretty well because it has a good rim it can wrap itself around, but mulch will collect in the mesh around the rim and it can get pulled off. Collect your leaves close enough to the bag and you won't pull it off by mistake (happened to me on the last bag, luckily it's easy to just revacuum up the debris). ... show more

  • Works fine... but cumbersome
This item does exactly what it is intended. Strong suction when paired with the Worx Vacuum, but it is not perfect. The hood that fits over a trashcan is difficult to work with and does not like to hold tight to the can opening without some serious fidgeting with it. Once you get it "just right" yes it will hold. The hose is a decent length but you will have to be mindful of it as you will be moving often. The can tends to tip over when stretch the hose to a length that lifts it off the ground, at least until you get some mulched leaves in there. It is VERY dusty, but that is to be expected. For me, it was just a bit too much to have to keep up with. Will I use it again? maybe, but it will not be a goto piece of equipment. I would pass on it if I had to do over again. ... show more

  • Significant Time Savings
I have an old Sears leaf blower / mulching unit. The only problem is that the leaf collection bag is too small and I spent quite a bit of time having to change it by dumping the contents into my yard funnel that is inserted into a lawn/leaf bag. The universal adapter has a ratchet like ring that fit snugly on the Sears unit. Then I just connected the hose to the adapter. The end of the hose has an ample net like skirt which was designed to fit over a 55 gallon tub, but I found that it also fit snugly over the yard funnel. It has a cinch cord which makes that interface a snug fit. The result - sucked up a huge pile of leaves in very quick order. Know I only need to change when the lawn/leaf bag gets full, which occurs considerably less than the old bag system which came with the Sears unit;. ... show more

  • Works, but cumbersome
I was so hopeful this was going to be the best possible way to round up all my leafs. Turns out it’s very dusty and cumbersome. The collector (trash can or leaf barrel) falls over and you start dragging it while picking up leafs. After 1 day of using it, I gave up and purchased the stihal blower attachment which utilizes a shoulder strap. While the shoulder strap works great, after doing more research, I believe (from research) the black&decker backpack design appears to be more user friendly and lots of positive reviews. I also wish my blower attachment end piece has wheels on the end like the Ryobi blower has. It had to keep the suction off the ground. More research needed but bottom line, it beats picking up leaves by hand. Would I buy again or recommend this product to someone else. Probably not. The price is very reasonable, but the operation is not practical. ... show more

  • Works well with my big yard trashcan
I recently purchased the WORX WA4054.2 LeafPro Universal Leaf Collection System and I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase. The product is designed to fit all major blower/vac brands, and it does exactly that. It fits perfectly over my big trashcan, so I don’t have to worry about emptying the bag so many times that came with the blower. The product is exactly as advertised and has made my yard work much easier. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an efficient and easy-to-use leaf collection system. ... show more
