Easily assembled. Charge indicator on the charger seems to work. Charge indicator on the battery (as well as on the two spare batteries I purchased) does not work. The trimmer works great either in hand or with extension. Update: Battery power indicator needs to be pushed with a finger nail. or hard object like a key. No matter how hard I pushed with my finger tip flesh I couldn't get it to give indication. Update 2: The extension really makes weed clean up under shrubs a breeze. The shrub trimmer accessory is convenient for touch up. The full sized trimmer would be inconvenient to use. Battery life seems more than adequate. I bought this to trim after mowing because I just cannot start the gas weed eater or refill the string. Used it today as soon as it arrived and it worked great! I was afraid it wouldn't cut close to the brick around the flower bed but it did. Very happy. Haven't used the shrub trimmer because we don't have shrubs. ... show more

This product has gone above my expectations. I did not have to recharge the battery untill the 3rd day I used it. Amazing. The telescopic pole has helped me so much with my back. No more bending over. Adjustable lengths to. And so easy to put together.
