Great value for the money. The machine is heavy and feels well made. Works as its supposed to. I love that it has an adjustable stroke and goes all the way from 4v to 12v and has a dotwork mode to help with stippling. The battery is detachable so you can easily buy a second to keep yourself going during long sessions. Easy to clean. It has 4 prepared settings that you can adjust to your liking. The needles are nice and consistent. The fake skin is far too thin and flimsy. Definitely recommend as a backup machine or for someone just starting out. Definitely worth the price.

Works very good, it packs color the lining is good and the shading is immaculate. My favorite thing about it is that it doesn't weigh alot and the dot mode and jump start is phenomenal. The ink is very good too

I am not a tattoo artist, I am somebody who just wants to practice it. This kit comes with everything that you need to start out, but I would never use this kit to tattoo an actual person. Reason for that being while this kit does have everything you need to start out, it is not exactly very reliable. I tried it out and got around six tattoos made on fake skin, and had them basically fully shaded, but the gun suddenly died on me. It refused to work for about an hour, so I assume this is a problem with the device overheating? Not entirely sure, it didn't feel all that hot, but generally in my experience when an electronic that generates heat stops working but then starts up again after a period of non-use, the issue is heat-related. Other than that though, the kit is great for a beginner. The fake skin isn't great, but it's good enough to work for someone who has never tattooed before. The same can be said for everything else in the kit as well such as the ink and needles; they certainly all get the job done, but for something you are going to be putting inside of a living human potentially, I would opt to keeping this kit for beginner practice only.

This pen is a major upgrade from the last model I purchased from this seller. It puts out ink on real skin very well and straight. Definitely works well for beginners or pros. Low noise and low vibration. The only downside is the battery life. I recommend getting an extra battery if you plan on doing any tats more than 4 hours long. All in all great gun for the price would buy again!

With the 40% coupon that has been running the last week and a half, this is an adjustable stroke machine that’s less than $50. This would be the only adjustable stroke pen I’ve seen that is at a price point I would recommend beginners pick up. I think people new to the craft should spend less than $50 on their first machine, so they can figure out if they enjoy it and not spend a ton of money. Treat it like a hobby at first and make sure you enjoy doing the art. This would be perfect for beginners at its price point and adjustability. The stroke being adjustable means this will do everything perfectly. You’ll get nice lines at a higher stroke and deep color packing/shading at lower strokes. I was able to do everything well with it. The machine is very comfortable in your hand. It is on the thicker side of the spectrum, but you will get used to it and like it. The vibration was low and did not interfere with my work. I fully charged the battery and used it for about an hour and a half. The battery was still at 78% when I was done. The kit has everything you need to get started on black and grey work. The only thing you will need is better fake skins, because the included ones are too thin. Wormhole is a pretty respected budget brand, but I wouldn’t use their ink on real skin. I would go with a higher end company, but their ink is perfect for practice work.
