Have to admit I didnt have high Hope's for this but my wife wanted one she could handle too. Apparently I dont weed eat enough for her or to her liking. When I first went to use it I expected to be disappointed but was quickly corrected when I saw how well it was working. I wish the battery lasted a little longer but other than that this things is pretty great. Never had one with an adjustable plate before. Being able to change the angle allows me to get to places my larger gas one would not allow for. The wheel is super nice for edging which my gas one never had either. Just flip the player sideways and wheel it right down the sidewalk for perfect edging. Pretty awesome for an electric tool!

Multiple adjustment options (good) but the single string spool extends cutting time (not good). Even worse, the string does not feed as advertised, instead it retracts, requiring almost constant string adjustments. Sorry to say, this product is just slightly better than a kids toy.

Works great for small front and backyard (property lot at 1/4 acre)

Now what I have to say is that although it is light to use it, it DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH POWER to do a good job.. The battery much less lasts a considerable time if you. has to do a job that requires a reasonable time to finish it, this battery has an approximate charge of 10 minutes NO MORE. Other disadvantages that I have found is that it does not have enough strength to remove weeds that are deep. It only works for very light work with minimal cuts, but that's all...in my particular case it didn't work for me. The construction is fine, but the ignition system, that is to put it to work, You have to activate a switch that you have on the sides of the handle and in turn press the trigger, for it to work, this tires and numbs the hand. Therefore if you you have a job that requires power to make your garden look good consider a machine that has much more power, this will not work for you. That is my humble opinion.
