  • A nice replacement for a perfectly good printer
Style: Printer (WF-7710)
So with the last update to Windows 10, my perfectly good working printer was deemed obsolete. The search began for new printer. I decided on this one as it is wireless connection and also has wide format printing. I like to print out my own art work to hang in my home so the wide format hooked me. Only real problem was getting the printer into the house and out of the box. I am old and not so strong anymore. It was heavy for me. Even the box itself was heavy. It was very well packed and survived making it to my home which is at the end of the line for shippers. It spent a long day in the delivery truck traveling on rough country roads. The only other problem was setting up the WiFi connection. I had to enter the info myself. That turned out to be easy too. I have made a few prints. Have to check the settings to avoid stripes showing in the prints. No big deal though. Just a matter of getting the correct settings. All in all a very nice printer for the price. Cannot speak to ink usage as I have not printed much to date. I like the touch screen. Easy to use. Hope it keeps working until Windows 10 decides it too is obsolete. ... show more

  • High quality, easy to use, works for sublimation printing.
Style: Printer (WF-7710)
Great printer/copier/scanner, I won't use it for faxing but I'm sure that's great too. Comes packaged super well, I was pulling tape off for a while, but it arrived in perfect condition so it's worth it. Crispy prints and scans, it can scan to pdf or jpeg. You can save favorites of paper size and scan folders which is convenient or scan straight to email. It connects to USB, wifi or ethernet, also does wifi direct printing from mobile devices. I'll be using it for sublimation once I get the conversion cartridges and ink. The tray can go up to 13"x19" so bigger shirts can be made. ... show more

  • Scan docs into multipage or single page PDF/JPEG formats + Great print quality
Style: Printer (WF-7710)
Main reason I bought this printer was to be compatible with Windows 10 that my old printer was not and I also wanted to be able to scan in a bunch of old docs from my file drawer to keep digital copies of the documents & clean out the filing cabinet of all of the piles of papers. The machine has excellent scan quality either by top tray loading several pages at once, single pages at a time, or by scanning a doc on the glass screen. You can do multi-page PDF/JPG format scanning or single page...the machine will ask you on the screen if it senses there are no more documents in the feeder if you have any more docs you'd like to include in that particular scan. Very intuitive to use. Also, was very quick to get hooked up to wifi so I can wirelessly print and when I make a scan to my USB drive that is plugged in the printer, I don't even have to unplug the USB drive and plug it into my computer. I can actually access what scans are on the USB drive plugged into the printer WIRELESSLY from my computer and I can move files from that USB drive that's still in my printer over to a different folder on my actual computer. Super convenient!! Ink cartridges last much longer with this unit than with my old HP printer and cost significantly less when finally time to replace them when you use a 3rd party vendor. I've had no printer jams yet, and print quality has been great! We will be keeping this printer awhile! Love everything it has done for us already! ... show more

  • Don't let the bad reviews sway you!
Style: Printer (WF-7710)
You know, it's funny: if you're like me, you've searched around Amazon for an hour looking for the next printer...and on every single printer you find, it has about 60% 5-star reviews, and 40% 1-star reviews. Statistically, *every* printer you look at on Amazon could be magical or could be a bust! I looked closely at the reviews on this printer and, based on what our needs are as a business, went with this one based on a gut feeling (and past positive experiences with Epson printers). I'm glad I did. This thing is AWESOME. First of all, you should know that it is a BIG printer. When we unboxed it, we were surprised at the size — but in our case, that's a good thing. It's sturdy, and can handle printing large sheets (which is important to us as a creative agency — we use this feature regularly). The touchscreen is very responsive and well-designed, and initial set up of the printer was a breeze. We simply followed the instructions given in the packaging and we had the thing up and running (with both Windows and Mac machines) in about 10 minutes, with everybody in the office able to print, scan, and copy their hearts out with no problems whatsoever. Overall, if you're on the fence and just not sure if you should pull the trigger, I can assure you: you're making the right call by going with this printer. You won't be disappointed. :) ... show more

  • Do not buy this printer! Save yourself the trouble!
Style: Printer (WF-7710)
The item shipped quick and seller was supportive during setup. My review below is for this product. The ink that it comes with last for like maybe 10 prints. If you are going to spend a grand on this printer, you will need to put in another $100 to get it full of ink. It did have some nice capability and I did use the 11x17 feature while it was in use. The screen is also decent for a printer, but there were always some lines and smearing I was fighting. Ultimately, just after 12 months of owning this printer it seems to have a problem with the controller. It was getting stuck in the startup sequence. I tried recovery mode and uploading new firmware and now it stuck in recovery mode and unable to flash in new firmware. The controller is "Bricked" as some would say. Now I am stuck with a bunch of bad options. 1. Box it up and pay to have it shipped 200 miles to have it inspected. Best case is having it shipped back another 200 miles. 2. Beat this thing into smaller pieces like it is office space and throw into a trashcan 3. Drive it to scrapyard I am forced back to the Brother printer we have had for 20 years ... show more

  • While it works, it's awesome
Style: Printer (WF-7710)
The problem with these printers is that when they fail, they fail hard. You absolutely MUST print something at least once a week, if not more frequently. If you don't, the print heads clog, dry out, or simply stop responding to ink release commands and you end up with very poor quality output. If you print things regularly, or even every day, the quality is very good. The interface is intuitive and very easy to use. Ink is pricey, but accurately used - while the printer works. ... show more

  • Great Durable Printer. Works Great for Sublimation Too
Style: Printer (WF-7710)
What a difference a hundred dollars make. In the past I always purchased the cheapest inkjet printers I could find (even from Epson). Usually ran me $50-$70, would feel and act real cheap, would last me about a year or so, then something would go wrong and I would just buy a new one. Finally decided to buy a little more expensive and I could tell the difference right away. For about $100 more, this printer was significantly more durable and versatile... looked like something that would be in an office under heavy use instead of a throw-away printer in my house. With all the cheap printers I’ve gone through over the last 2 decades, I could’ve bought this printer 10 times over and still had money left over for ink cartridges.... oh well... lessons learned... For those interested in using this for sublimation projects, it worked GREAT! My very first project came out looking like a professionally made print. ... show more

  • Very Happy So Far!
Style: Printer (WF-7710)
I just installed this Epson printer (in about 20 minutes or less), and I am very happy so far. Setup for Windows 10 was a breeze. I needed an all-in-one that could handle 11 x 17 paper for my home office, so I chose this one. I was worried that it would take up too much space or vibrate too much for the stand where it sits, but it does not. I can tell by how it feels that the external parts are of much higher quality than the last 3 HPs I've had, all of which stopped working far sooner than they should have! I hope the internal parts of the Epson are better, too. Needless to say, I won't be buying any more HPs. Their products are chintzy, and their customer service leaves a whole lot to be desired. I'll try to remember to update this review in a year or so (or sooner if anything goes amiss!). ... show more
