I’ve been really impressed with the DJI Neo 2 so far. The size and portability are fantastic—it’s small enough to take anywhere but still powerful enough to capture great footage. The 4K video quality is sharp and stable thanks to the improved gimbal and stabilization, and it’s incredibly easy to get good shots even if you’re new to drones. One thing I really like is how simple it is to fly. The gesture controls and tracking features make it easy to capture yourself walking, biking, or just getting creative shots without needing a complicated setup. The obstacle sensing and tracking features also make it feel much safer and easier to use than older entry-level drones. For such a compact drone, the performance is impressive. Flight time is around 18–19 minutes, which is more than enough for quick flights and capturing content, and the built-in storage means you don’t have to worry about carrying extra cards. Overall, this is an excellent drone for beginners, travelers, and anyone who wants a small drone that’s quick to deploy and fun to fly. Great value for the price.

Right out of the box, it feels thoughtfully designed for convenience, safety, and portability. The lightweight build makes it incredibly easy to carry around, and because it’s so compact, it’s perfect for travel, quick outdoor trips, or spontaneous family moments. The full-coverage propeller guards are a huge plus because they add peace of mind, especially for newer pilots or anyone flying in tighter spaces. One of my favorite features is the palm takeoff and landing. It makes launching and landing feel effortless, and the gesture controls add a fun, modern touch that makes the whole experience more intuitive. The tracking performance is also excellent — it keeps the subject in focus smoothly and reliably, which is a big help when capturing moving shots. The 4K imaging quality is another highlight. If you’re looking for a competent selfie drone with easy to use software, look no further. This is your easy to use travel drone. I had a DJI Neo 1 prior to this, and the 2 improves on it in every way. Image quality is improved; features and use without the controller are upgraded (gesture control really works!); smart shots are more and better. When compared to the Neo 1, the obstacle avoidance and tracking is next generation. If there were improvements, I would cite better battery life, and better portability. If the drone could fold in half that would be perfect to keep it compact. Otherwise, a great value!

This drone is absolutely amazing! I’m so impressed with how compact and thoughtfully designed it is. The small size makes it easy to carry around and store, but it still feels sturdy and well-made. It’s incredible how something so compact can perform this well. The video quality is surprisingly good — clear, sharp, and smooth. It captures great footage, especially for a drone at this level. My husband and son have had so much fun flying it together, and it’s been such a great activity for them to enjoy. It’s also very beginner-friendly. The controls are easy to learn, and it feels stable while flying, which makes it perfect for anyone just getting started. Overall, we’re extremely happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to other beginners looking for a fun, high-quality drone!

Dji is writing the new standards on what is capable @ less than a $300 price tag. The manual controls now even work on small external screens of the razr 2024, and so does the flight simulator. Crazy value. If you are looking for a drone for video or even if you are just looking to buy a camera and haven't considered a drone... As long as you are okay shooting 15 minutes per battery, buy this. Absolutely gorgeous the video this takes. WARNING ⚠️ Don't use in ai tools in low light. It tells you every time you turn it on "use in well lit, textured environments". Tiny thing fits in my jacket pocket for on the go, and the buttons and display let you use it without the app. Super practical and functional. the video is an example of the drone freaking out trying to bicycle follow in low light, almost ate the bush. my opinion after a month: if you live in a place like texas where you CAN fly a drone, but they have weird concerning privacy laws, not considering fpv and goggles and such, If you want something to simply capture pretty good video, go with the neo. If you want great video, go with the Neo 2 Less conspicuous and difficult to claim "surveillance" only using ai functions on yourself or family(my "fun" use")... If you live somewhere with wide open spaces and lenient privacy laws, want AMAZING Photos and Video? get the Flip. if you just want fpv, probably the neo on sale, or just get something else. Despite what others say, i have had issues getting ai functions to work AT ALL in low light. I even attached a landing gear light and took off from the ground.
