This was easy enough to install, my husband had to slightly modify it to fit a 1960’s hollow core door but it worked. Our large guy (18lbs on a good day) comfortably fits through the opening too

My large cat approves. This cat is afraid of everything and hides all the time. After being stuck in rooms without us knowing we knew we needed to do something to help him. He now has ways in and out but the dog doesn't. Now this cat is a good 20lbs and a true Tom cat build. I worried it would be to small. Now I'm not saying it's a huge hole for him to go through but he army crawls through it at great speed as he runs for his life because I sneezed. This will deff work for most large cats. If your cat is very "fluffy but not because of fur" you may want to double check things before you install. My guy is tall with a dad bod so it works but tall and a cheeseburger diet bod might be an issue.

Very handy, I unfortunately had to take my door down to get it cut out. There may have been a easier solution, but that worked out best for me.

Fits and looks great. The only advice that I have is after your mark out the template cut to the outside of the pencil line. I cut on the inside and it took some additional filing and cutting to get the hole big enough.

Looks great, functions as it should, pretty sturdy in there. Installation instructions were awful. I thought it was going to be easier than anticipated, in fact it would have been a million times easier with good instructions. Supposed to take me an hour and I was still working on it for another 2 hours. The stencil was great too. In fact literally everything about this product BUT the instructions were great. That's why only 1 star taken off.
