We spent months going back and forth on mobility scooters before landing on this one. The concern was always the same: anything that seemed solid enough also seemed like it needed a dedicated van or a ramp to transport. We needed something that could come with us to a grocery run, a family dinner, a doctor's appointment — places a regular car goes. Assembly with two people took about 20–25 minutes. The instructions are picture-based and clear enough, though a couple of bolt positions would've been easier with a short written note alongside the diagram. The seat height is adjustable and the armrests are padded well. One thing we noticed right away: the blue is significantly brighter in person than in the listing photos. Not a problem, just worth knowing ahead of time if you're buying this as a gift. The foldability is the feature we bought this for, and it delivers. It collapses down to a size that loaded into our standard SUV cargo area without rearranging anything — fold, lift, done. The weight is real (you'll want two people the first few times), but the design makes it manageable. We've loaded and unloaded it [X] times now, and once you've done it twice the sequence takes under 2 minutes. The throttle is smooth rather than jerky, which matters for someone not used to powered mobility devices, and the turning radius handles store aisles without much stress. Battery after a full charge ([X] hours) lasted through an afternoon out — [X] miles of use — without hitting low. The front basket is on the smaller side, fits a bag or a light shop but not a full cart's worth of groceries. That's a reasonable tradeoff for the compact footprint, just worth knowing before you have expectations around it. This is a product for a specific kind of person: someone who needs a mobility aid that actually travels, not one that stays parked at home. For that use case — errands, outings, anything that involves loading into a normal car — it works exactly as you'd hope. **Summary:** Purchasing a product means purchasing trust in the company behind it. I have zero faith left in Wooken as a brand, or Amazon as an arbitrator. A defective device was delivered, and both companies are playing fingers-pointed blame games while an adult-cost item sits broken. ## The Issues * **Defective Hardware:** The device arrived brand new with a broken gauze cover over the battery meter console. * **Wooken Deflecting Responsibility:** I emailed Wooken support the exact same day it arrived, providing a clear photo of the damage and my Amazon order number. Their official response was that they couldn't find the order and told me to contact Amazon. Amazon told me I have to contact the manufacturer. There lies the loop of death! Soo. I don’t generally write reviews but thought this bike/company deserved my effort. After 10 months of great performance in the hilly parts of nc the display stopped functioning. I notified Amazon who then reached out to the seller who then reached back out to me within 4 days. The seller requested a short video of the bike not working which I provided. We agreed the issue was a faulty display and they shipped me a new one. I had it within one week. The display installs easily (a teenager could do it).
