I purched these lights to go around the outside of our gazebo. There are 2 sets, each with their own solar panel and 1 set did the job, and trying to decide on the 2nd set. They were easy to set up, the light is bright yet soft. I am disappointed that the lights do not do all the mode settings listed...steady, twinkling, chasing, blinking, and fading off & on. The only thing the installed set does is steady on and blink off & on. I plan to put the 2nd set in 1 days sunlight before installing, and see what happens. We're disappointed it doesn't do the motions stated with the lights.

These look nice but one strand quit working after a month or so. Company would not replace them so I had to purchase a set from a different manufacturer. Go with a different brand if you can.

My backyard gets pitch black at night was hoping these would put off enough light to actually see if something was lurking as we have bears that wander through. They have been up since I purchased them and are still working just wanted a bigger viewing area.

product is great. Solar works better than I expected. After an afternoon of sunlight, lights stay on for at least 4 to 5 hours. No need to mess with it, just set it up and leave it. 2nd damaged package I have received from Amazon in less than a month. Package was punctured and ripped. (as was my package from a couple of weeks ago) Also, driver could have left the package on the patio chair or table. But he chose to throw it on the ground. Come on guys, a 10 year old has more common sense. Disappointed long time Amazon customer.

We put these lights up in a tree on our desert property for the holidays last year. While they’re pretty and add some color at night, they’re not very bright. But I wasn’t necessarily looking to them to provide light, more just decoration. We left the property in May and assumed the lights would be thrashed from summer heat and monsoon rains and winds over 50 mph. Well, I’m happy to report they’re still going strong! I may end up buying more to put on some of the other trees we have. Good value for the money!

I have these lights outdoors in freezing temps. On cloudy December days you get about 1 hr of lights after sundown . Now in February when it’s still cold but days are longer and finally getting some sun you get about 2.5-3 hrs of illumination. Placement of solar charging panel is critical. Get as much sun as you can. I’m sure in June when the sun is high and temps are warm the duration of lights will be significantly longer. Nice color to lights and they have endured temps down to 10 F
