The clock is really bright, so it's great that it turns it self off after a few seconds. You can then 'wake' it by making noise (clapping, tapping the nightstand) or by tapping the top of the clock. The problem is that when I roll over in the middle of the night, I want to see the time and I don't want to start clapping because that will wake my husband. Since my phone is on top of the clock charging, I can't tap it to wake. So I just end up grabbing my phone to look at the time, which defeats the entire purpose for me of having a clock next to my bed. There were a few times where the clock would 'wake' and shine bright in my face as I was trying to fall asleep, but there wasn't a noise to trigger the waking. I may give it another night before I return it, but likely will. ... show more

I bought this clock after seeing Creative Director Sean Brown post it on Instagram. I wasn’t even looking for a clock, but I fell in love with its aesthetics and I figured it was time to replace my old bulky speaker clock. As I mentioned, I only got this clock for its looks but there’s so much more to it that make life a little easier. You can set three different alarms and set the alarms to go off only during weekdays. The top of the clock is a wireless charger so I usually leave my AirPods Pro on top to charge overnight or during work. There are also three different brightness levels. I use the lowest setting but I still find it pretty bright so I wouldn’t have the clock directly facing your bed. Now my mom wants one too! ... show more

This clock is definitely not "wooden". It's cheap plastic, and the whole unit just has the feel of a cheaply made unit. I cannot speak to it's durability, or daily use - I returned it. What I can say is that the cheap look and feel played a large part in that decision, but the real reason for the return is the wireless charging capability. It WILL charge a Google Pixel 4, but it WILL NOT charge through any cases, even the slimmest of silicon cases. I tried quite a few and the only wireless charging that worked was with a bare phone and no case. ... show more

After ordering one of these clocks and trying it out for a week, I ordered 2 more. They all work perfectly and are as described in the literature. I was a bit baffled when I first removed the clock from the package, as it looked like a solid block of wood with no display, but the display shows up when you power up the unit. I set it so that the display is off unless I wake it up with a light tap, clap, or snap of my fingers. This way I can keep the brightness setting on high for daytime use and not worry about glare at night. I also love seeing the temperature and humidity when I wake up. Nice features for future development might be 1.) a WiFi connection to outdoor temperature and humidity readings, and 2.) wood choices that look more natural and can be purchased to fit with different wooden furniture. Walnut, maple, cherry, pine, and white oak might be all you need. These are just suggestions, but as is, the alarm clock is an excellent innovation incorporating great functionality and design. ... show more

This is a nice little alarm clock with a lot of functionality. The wireless phone charger works nicely with my Razer Phone 2, charges it up every night to be ready in the morning. The time, alarm, date, humidity, and temperature functionality all works great - my favorite features being the temperature and humidity functions. I love how the display turns off during sleep mode - it makes for a very low profile look. I only had a one minor issue with it: - Brightness - even on the lowest setting, the clock still lights up my room at night! My fiance and I keep it very dark to help us sleep, so this was a bit of an issue. The sleep mode to turn the display off helps with this, however, we did find the sound sensitivity to be a bit too sensitive, often turning the clock on even to the bed creaking. I'd recommend the sound sensitivity to be reduced. Overall, it's a great clock and I do recommend it! ... show more

I really liked this alarm clock when I first got it until I tried setting it up. It's been years though since I had a new alarm clock so I thought I just needed to get used to it. But when I had to change things like times of the alarm(s), etc., it was a real hassle. You have to go through a whole slew of steps to get where you need to make just one change. It's crazy! I kept trying to work with it, still thinking that I just needed to get used to it. I finally gave up. Needless to say, I'm still looking for an alarm clock that works the way I want it to. I bought this clock because I wanted to charge my phone without more cables or clutter on the night stand. In that respect, this clock is great. It charges my phone reliably and very conveniently. The other feature which drew me to this clock was the dimming control. During daylight it looks like it dims very low, but it is still surprisingly bright at night. My wife is very light sensitive, and this clock was still a bit too bright for her. If the dimmer could go one more level lower this would be an amazing product. An automatic setting functionality would also be great feature to add. Overall thought is is a very good clock. It's easy to set, charges phones great, and has a very easy to use interface for setting time. The wood look is also unique, and was a perfect fit for our rustic decor. ... show more
