  • Little small but will work
It was a little smaller that I was expecting but it will work for now

  • Meh, good enough for a beginning coop.
This is about what you'd expect from a prefab chicken coop. The pros: Easy to assemble, Good design, Big enough for 4-6 chickens - but no more. The Cons: the slide-out coop drawer is horribly under designed. After the first few weeks it warped from regular use and could not be pulled out. I broke it up and pulled it out, then replaced it with new pressboard. But it really should be replaced with a metal or some other waterproof material. Or just make it permanent to the structure and instead, make the access door larger to fit a garden rake so you can just rake out the bedding and poop into a bucket or wheelbarrow. Secondly, It is too flimsy to move around, the yard. I mounted it to a 4x4 wooden base all the way around, which allows me to pull if anywhere I want without worry of pulling on the fame - which is too weak. ... show more

  • Cheap junk from China
Don't buy this junk, the panels are thin as paper, they only treat one side with chemical and it is toxic, so the wood will be eaten by termites within a year, panels arrived broken, split, this product is chemically unsafe for pets, not a good value for the price, ease of assembly sucks as the instructions are confusing written by chinese, it is not sturdy, and the size is tiny in comparison to the photos. Build your own, forget this junk from China - a big waste of money. ... show more

  • Nice little backyard coop
Not bad for the money. Will need wire on the bottom and no locking latch for egg box. Otherwise great for a urban backyard coop. Went together in about an hour. Has a nice stain on it, although Ill paint it for a different color. I bought for pullets before transitioning with the big hens. We added roosting bars in coop and run. I would say Fits 2-3 large chickens with no free range. ... show more

  • Dollhouse chicken coop
Nicely designed but SO tiny that it feels claustrophobic. Planned on getting 3 hens, but should probably only get two : ( Looked for hours to find a coop like this where no one complained about cheap, broken wood. This one was well made, but definitely not designed for motivated predators if you live in an area with skunks or coyotes. ... show more

  • Nothing lines up
Cheapest wood I have ever seen. Right from the first step there were missed holes that were not drilled out, causing me to eyeball where panels were supposed to go. Hope you buy a tube of Liquid Nails and some wood glue. With all of the problems I wish I would have just bought the wood and the plans from Home Depot and built it myself. ... show more

  • Not As Described
Aug 21, 2024 Bought this 3 months ago! It went into the burn pile today. So that’s 170 bucks down the drain! Much smaller than pictured, not so easy to put together. I read the reviews after I ordered it! But I bought it as a brooder for my chicks after hatching and in the indoor brooder for a week and it’s perfect for that. Reviews said the wood split, so I used a manual screwdriver… my arthritis did not appreciate that effort! The instructions are not clear, and I still don’t know where pieces “T” go! The slider for the door at the top does not fit the fence panel. Will not work for more than 1 hen if you’re getting it for grown chickens. I have property and I let my chickens free range once they are big enough. The flooring on the inside is very thin. The egg laying area is way too small and I doubt it would hold the weight of a full grown hen for very long before splitting and needing replaced. The walkway to go up and down from roosting area to ground is varnished and impossible for chicks to walk up. I affixed light weight sandpaper to the walkway, which did the trick. Of course, after rain, it has to be replaced. If you’re going to use this for a brooder, it works but for layers, buy or build something else. You’ll save money & frustration in the long run. ... show more

  • DON’T WAIST YOUR MONEY
Product is cheaply made. Received broken. When I initiated the return process, I am required to pay the shipping fee, on top of the shipping fee to get it to me “broken” and the shipping costs more then the actual chicken coop. DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT!!
