This steamer is very functional and well-built as well as I appealing. I I'm happy with the size and the capacity. It fits nicely on my stove and holds enough water to last the day. I will be using it mainly as the humidifier it is. I'm planning to put a few drops of essential oil in it to give my home a Christmas smell. It is a great value compared to others. It seems to be fairly rust resistant as well. I've been using it for a number of days now. It has not shown any staining or rusting aside from mineral deposit. A little bit of vinegar cleans that out easily.

As advertised; however keep in mind it smaller than a lot of the Wood Stove pots. Good for us because we have fans on our Wood Stove so the smaller size was good. I think they include instructions to season the pot. We didn't know and the water was soon rust color and some stains. Finally seasoned but not as good after the fact.

This didn't work out. I wanted it to help with some humidity next to my wood burning fire place insert. It came with no instructions. Unfortunately, it rusted within days and left a stain on the steel cover of the fire place insert. It looked good and I had high hopes but it didnt work as advertised.
