When I bought this unit it was advertised to have a pump which it does not and it does not work that well in the most humid conditions it would barely pull a liter of water in 2 days there are much better store units available at a much smaller price spend your money wisely, also when I brought this issue of the unit not having a pump they told me it was a typo on the listing and did not offer any compensation or a replacement ... show more

This is a very nice product. When I put the ducting in the 6in vent hole it kept my tent at what i set it at on the unit. It's on wheels so it makes it easy to move around as well and is user friendly. If I were to change anything on this it would be its water catcher I would make it just a little bit bigger but it does have the hose you can put in a bucket for continuous draining capabilities. Have been searching for a small humidifier for my tent for a while. Tried several solid state non compressor models and realized that none of them had the ability to remove enough humidity. This Spider Farmer unit is designed for tents, and in my 2x4 tent does a great job. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the limitation of humidity adjustments. 5 percent increments are a pain. I would prefer to set it to the exact percent I need. Otherwise it is saving me money over my larger room humidifier. ... show more

This is the only way to set it up where it won’t effect temp/change RH by like 5-12% instead the controller69 shuts it auto on and off running it in dehumidifier mode works great now but any other way of running it dosent work the best right now maybe they’ll tweak it? Only downside is this now needs another carbon filter due to obvious reasons ... show more

You need a cool(cold) light with this because it does emit some heat like 5 degrees higher than what it sucks in when directly connected. I actually remove the vent from going into my tent during warm days. For winter this doubles as a heater. It almost works too good because after a day or two, I find my plants to be too dry when set at the dryest setting. I have been using it without the vent in my 500 sq ft lung room with much better results then with the vent. ... show more
