After cleaning my refrigerator I've usually had a slight lingering scent. My fridge is 15 years old and most likely plastic inside absorbs the odors to a degree. Used different brand deodorizer in the past, this time I decided to use NonScents. My refrigerator works well therefore there is no reason to buy a new one. This deodorant woks like magic. Don't be discouraged if this product doesn't work overnight. It takes awhile. I had a terrible odor emanating from my fridge. Took everything out, tossed food and washed everything down. Nothing helped. Even had a repair technician in to see if he could advise. He checked for any openings for critters and for any type of spills that could cause the smell. He had no answers, other than telling me I had a big problem. I tried baking soda with NO results. So, as a last resort, I tried this deodorant product. I placed one in the refrigerator and one in the freezer. Both areas have circulating fans. It has taken its time, but has started to work well. It has taken roughly two weeks to get results, but they are positive. I will be ordering more just to be sure this odor NEVER comes back. Sometimes things are worth the money you spend on them. This is one of them.

-We enjoy a variety of ethnic food (with strong smells) -I love baking- storage/proofing/hardening purposes -I have sensitive nose. I hate smelly fridge esp smelly ice. This thing works. Prevents lingering smell in the fridge. We had our fridge for about 3yrs now. No weird smell.

We had a radical disaster with our fridge (involving the fridge being closed up for two weeks with rotting meats, seafood and maggots). We cleaned the fridge 5-6 times with all recommended products. We tried using various deodorising tricks … soda, charcoal, vinegar etc. Nothing worked. I bought these and put 3 in the fridge. There was no noticeable difference in the stink. Finally we bought a new fridge. I don’t think that this product is bad. I think that the level of our problem was far beyond this product’s capabilities.

No matter what we did, we just always felt like our fridge smelled… off. We scrubbed, we used baking soda, but one tiny thing left in there too long would just derail the whole thing and our fridge would smell again. Ever since I’ve been putting one of these in there we haven’t had the issue, and they last FOREVER! They’re nice and small and discreet, so you can toss one on the side shelf and forget it’s there.
