Easy to assemble. Sits unobtrusively off to the side. Very quiet. The reservoir holds approximately 2 US gallons (8L) of water. The unit has a built in humidity gauge and when the humidity reaches the desired setting, the unit shuts off. If you set the humidity at 50% then once the humidity reaches that level, the unit shuts off. However, my living room is ~600 sq ft and this unit is supposed to handle ~800 sq ft with ease. I set the humidity for 50% and the humidifier ran all day, never reaching 50%. It hovered right around 43-45%. Other than that my only other complaint is the water mark used when filling the reservoir. The unit I bought is black. The fill line is also black, thus making it difficult for these old, tired eyes to see. To fix that, I got my gloss white model paint and my number 0 model paint brush and painted that indicator line white. Now I can clearly see the fill line indicator. (see [picture) This makes filling that reservoir a lot easier so you don't accidentally overfill it. That would be my only suggestive feedback to the manufacturer. With the black units make that fill line indicator white and with the white units make that fill line indicator black. Because of these two issues I gave this four stars.

This is our second Lacidoll humidifier . We really like this brand .It works great,even quieter than the last one. It makes the room much more moist and warmer.Michigan weather is very cold and dry and a lot of statics. It helps a lot with those problems,even helped my nose bleeding problem due to the dryness.It holds 2 gallons of water,very easy to fill up,responds immediately when turned on, and the humidity control works from 40%–100% .and when it’s working it shoots out a fine mist with three output levels.I set it to 50% humidity for 9 hours each night in my bedroom and one fill lasts about 3 nights. The display’s blue lights can be turned on or off like a night light .And it’s surprisingly quiet.

Easy to set up. Easy to add water. Remote is a nice feature to have as it makes it easier to change settings vs the product panel. Good size holding tank. When I need to move it I remind myself to be careful where I pick it up as the top just sits on top. There's nothing to lock it down. I like the sm compartment where u can add scented oil. I did expect the humidity stream to shoot farther. Because I have 10ft ceilings, I've placed mine on an end table so its higher in the air.

Not a terrible humidifier. It is big, I'm not a fan of the touch screen because it doesn't stay lit so I can't see what to push when it's dark, however it does come with a remote. Also there is a "night light" function that does not provide any source of light. But it's tall, quiet, gets the job done and my baby likes looking at the mist come from the top

The Lacidoll Large Room Humidifier has worked well in the living room, kitchen, and den of the house. We just had several days of very cold weather which means the central heat dries the air and we get static shocks when touching metal. This unit has almost eliminated this painful issue, and runs almost silently. We add water twice a day and have it set to 50% humidity, which is asking a lot for about 600 square feet. However, it does keep the room at 35-45% which is all we need. We would probably buy another, so I recommend it.
