I really love this WolfWise instant sun shelter. I'm not new to instant sun shelters, I currently own a Lightspeed Seaside quick shelter that I bought 3 years ago but my kids are now 6 years old and we needed a bigger one, so I got the WolfWise 4 person shelter. Highly recommended and I can see this fitting a family of 4 easily. (I attached pics showing the WolfWise 4 person instant sun shelter next to my smaller Lightspeed Seaside 2 person instant sun shelter for comparison in size and portability because I wanted to highlight how much more space you gained while keeping a similar packed size) Packed up, it's super portable and packs well in the car for taking to the park, beach, relative's house, etc. I was surprised that The WolfWise 4 person wasn't bigger than my Lightspeed 2 person when packed up. I was sceptical that getting a larger shelter would be bulky but this was not the case at all. It's quite light, even my 6 year old can carry it. I LOVE that the instructions are sewn in to the inside of the carry bag and that the bag unzips lengthwise and has properly sized carry handles. My Lightspeed 2 person also had instructions but the drawstring bag made it slightly harder to see and pack up. You won't need them after the first couple of times but if someone else is setting it up, this can truly take the guesswork out of it. The set up is super easy. I recommend watching the WolfWise video that shows how to set up and put away the shelter, the video is at the end after you scroll through all the product pictures. I do feel that some user videos over complicate things. The two things to pay attention to is a) straighten the legs before raising the canopy and stand "behind" the shelter when you pull it up to open, then make sure to lock it in place. It takes me about 30 seconds to set up, about a minute to pack away (since I like rolling them up nice and tight to make it easier to fit in the carry bag). A bonus surprise is that the floor flap doubles as a zippered privacy door, so you can change inside. I didn't see a single picture showing this and found it quite by accident when I noticed the double zipper in the front opening. The three mesh windows also zip up so you can leave it open for ventilation or closed for privacy or to block off sun. There's a hanging hook on the top and mesh storage pockets under each window as well as near the roof. There's 3 generous sand bags on the outside (you can fill it with sand if you set it up on the beach), I usually place the included tent stakes in one of the sand bags so they don't get misplaced or forgotten. There are also wind ropes but I typically get by with setting up stakes only as the mesh windows allow air to blow through and it stays in place as long as it is staked down. In conclusion, really a great sun shelter. No complaints with anything. I thought my Lightspeed 2 person from 3 years ago was amazing but this one is truly better and the details like a zippered carry bag vs drawstring, folding legs (to allow it to pack smaller), zippered front for privacy and the spring locking mechanism make this a great recommendation! Wife and kid(s) approved!

I love this so much! I've had it for a couple years now and it is honestly the best thing ever. It's lightweight and rolls up into the size of a small yoga mat. It's just me and my son who go to the beach but it's very easy to set up on my own and very easy to take down and roll up on my own. It offers great shading and still breathable. Also the pockets are great and there are places if you want to add a fan or light.

Really like that it sets up so Easy and it was the largest pop up Beach Tent we could find it says 3-5 ppl but it really holds 2 full size Adults with Chairs ( all the other tents only hold small low chairs we have full size chairs ) Plus all our beach bags cooler table etc I love the “porch “ it help when sand is so hot and the reflective material really helps keep it cooler in hot sun in Florida ! Windows work great for ventilation the only thing we didn’t love is because of its design you have to set it up at an angle so you can look down the beach after you decide which way breeze is coming from lol the fabric pieces coming down on each side of door opening block your view IF you sit towards the front of tent if you move further back in the tent you can see down the beach both ways though the windows ! Unfortunately it’s the same on ALL THE POP YP TENTS ! You can’t really tell in the pics or reviews but it annoys my husband more than me and setting tent at which ever angle you choose helps but it’s is part of the way it is able to pop open so if you want a pop up this is a great option and definitely one of the largest available 😊👍 if you want to put 2 adults and 3 small children in it you would have to sit without chairs on beach towels but all in All we Love it 🙀😍🎉 Only other issue is it’s a little harder to fold it back up and put it in the bag on the beach but it definitely works but sometimes we bring it home and pop it back up to blow the sand out and neaten it up a little more ! But would definitely choose this one again for size value and quality

I have tried these tents in the past and this is by far my favorite. It's easy to set up and easy to take down. I think people who have problems taking it down don't read the instructions on how to fold the legs. The interior zippers work really well and the expanded flooring zipping up really comes in handy when a rain shower pops up. It's rainy season in Ft. Lauderdale which means sun one minute, shower the next, then sun again. Being able to zip it up and be completely protected from the rain is great and it repels water and dries quickly. My only complaint is that the zipper for the bag that the tent goes into is pretty cheap and can pull apart easily if you don't zip it precisely. Also - no way a family of 4 is going to be comfortable in this thing. Definitely terrific for two adults to be comfortable and maybe an infant - but no way a family of four as shown in the pic. Very happy with the purchase!

Bought for our first family beach trip with our 15 month old and 6 year old. I knew we’d need shade and somewhere for the baby to nap and change diaper. I opened this at home so I could be prepared on beach day for how to open and close. It is SO easy and only 1 person needed so husband could watch kids while I shook off sand and closed up. It was also windy and was still easy. Probably my best forethought and Amazon find combined with an amazing price point. Told all of my friends to get this! I was able to have the 6 year old change clothes in privacy, too right on the beach so we didn’t have to do it in a restroom. If you weren’t sure about this “tent,” trust this review and BUY IT already!!!!!!! Oh it’s super light as well and we can’t wait to use it again! I bought a big waterproof beach blanket too and we didn’t even use it, just this! It ended up being a pretty windy day and the stakes worked well to keep it down, I just had to move a handful of the soft top sand and really push the stakes in, and they stayed in for the hours we were there.
