Update: Two years later this set is still looking like new. It has been on my deck near the beach year round for the last two years-I have not had one issue with it. Even the cushions have held up. Granted I keep it covered if its not going to be used for long periods-but it sits outside on a deck near the beach in a short term rental home-that says a lot! I only bought this set because the original set that was ordered was not arriving on time-it was thousands of dollars and I’m so glad it didn’t arrive and I ordered this one instead. Original Review: This is a great set for the price point. It is light weight which can be a plus (easy to rearrange) or minus (If you live in a windy area). It is not “deep” seating but comfortable. I’m not sure how well the table will hold up as the top “wood” grain seems to be a vinyl sticker as I can see bubbles on it. But this set works for me as it has lots of seating in a small foot print and I wanted something for our second home. It arrived sooner then it was supposed to-I put it together by myself-easy to do-basically connecting the back and side pieces to the bottom. The material of the cushions seems like it will hold up well but I did buy covers for each piece to use for the weeks I’m not there so I don’t have to pull the cushions in each time. Each piece was wrapped securely in cardboard boxes. Nothing was damaged and it all fit together perfectly. The good: At the time I purchased, the price was unbeatable for the number of pieces received. Seating for 7 full sized adults and a table. Assembly was easy enough. The pieces are unbelievably light weight and easy to move around. I don't think you will have a problem with wind blowing them around because it can blow through the frame. Aluminum construction will not rust. The cushions look and feel good. The bad was really bad, but the manufacturer supported the product and replaced the damaged pieces. The bad: The finish is very thin and extremely brittle. It flakes off with the slightest of contact with anything hard surface, including itself. We brushed up against the brick on the house while setting it up, and the scratch in the finish is permanent. However, it does seem to be holding up well with normal use as long as the pieces don't touch each other. The packaging is ridiculously scarce. The pieces can't help but get damaged in transit. I had 6 different components either scratched or dented. Thankfully, the manufacturer support was very good and they replaced all 6 after I provided pictures. The finish has a nice color to it, but the screws that hold it together are a chrome color and stand out. All things considered, I am happy with the purchase. I have been able to keep it from getting any more scratches with normal use. And the value is great. ... show more

Ultimately, this is a great patio set. It's very sturdy, the cushions are great, and it's comfortable. There were a few issues that we encountered when putting this set together that you should be aware of. When you put it together, make sure that you don NOT lay the pieces on concrete or the powder coating will scratch. It scratches way to easily. Put some cardboard down on the floor or put it together on carpet. The first few pieces (the chairs) got scratched up because we didn't lay down cardboard first. Any slight movement on concrete and it will scratch. I thought it would be more scratch resistant, but the powder coating is not very thick at all. When putting together the set, be aware that some of the bolts are smaller than others. You may want to get a better Allen wrench than what is provided, or get a drill bit or screwdriver bit that is the same size. There's no way I would have been able to put this together with the sole help of the provided allen wrenches. Finally, there were 2 different bolts whose nuts that you screw them into that were not made right, so they couldn't be screwed in all the way; and that's even after using the allen wrench and pair of pliers to literally force the screw to screw in most of the way. Overall, I'd give this set 5 start for comfort, but it falls short on the powdercoating and the way it's made, as some bolts won't screw in completely. ... show more

This furniture has held up well this summer and it still looks brand new. Now, It has only been three months, but I live on the water where everything gets pummeled by a north wind and salt spray. If it is made of steel, it would be rusting to high heaven by now. I have to buy new fire pits every year because of this. Anyway, I have no complaints about this furniture. It was very easy to put together, the cushions are good quality, everything is level sitting on the deck (nothing rocks or wobbles) and it is fairly comfortable to sit on.     • Great patio set so far
This is a very attractive looking set of patio furniture. Everything took less than 2 hours to assemble by myself, but I don’t recommend that. Get someone to help speed things up. Each item is assembled in almost an identical manner so once you assemble one piece, the others will get easier. The cushions are surpassingly comfortable. You don’t feel the bottom of the seat. HOWEVER, the seat cushions vary in softness which is really weird. Some are very plush while others are very firm. One is obviously more comfortable than the other which sucks. I can’t speak to its durability yet, which I have huge concerns about. The frame isn’t very thin i and I think is made of aluminum. The sofa doesn’t have support in the middle of the frame and I think it will bend over time. The cushions will definitely fade quickly, and I imagine replacing them at some point Overall I’m pleasantly surprised with the set so far. But like I said I don’t expect this to last very long. You get what you pay for and this is what I can afford at the moment. ... show more

Took one star honestly could be user error but all of the chairs and table are a little uneven and the instructions are a bit unclear and was kinda hard to put together but cushions look and feel great I really enjoy how long they are so the “standard” shortness.
