    • Decent set for the money
**One Season Update Below Original Review** Okay- the first thing that people need to realize is that this set isn't as large as it looks in the pictures. I knew this when I bought it- but once assembled it is definitely smaller than what I was anticipating- even after I checked the measurements listed in the description before purchase. The set fits perfectly on a 6x9 foot outdoor rug- so that's an indication regarding space. It does sit relatively close to the ground and you'll likely find that for full-size adults, this really is designed for three people. If you try and cram two full-size adults on the 'sofa', they will be very uncomfortable. With all that in mind, I'm happy with the set. Assembly was relatively easy and was done in about an hour. The directions aren't very clear, but it was clear enough to be understood. Once put together and tightened, the set seems very sturdy with the exception of the coffee table- which wobbles a bit even with all the bolts tightened. The only thing that I'm unhappy with are the bottom cushions. While the back cushions are well-padded and thick, the bottom cushions are very thin and don't provide much comfort. The description/images in the listing say that the bottom cushions are three inches thick. The ones that shipped with mine are about two inches thick. They are good enough for about twenty or thirty minutes of comfort- but grow very uncomfortable with extended use. One unexpected issue that I've had regards how lightweight this set is. I've had it for about a week now, and last night we had our first thunderstorm with high winds. The set moved around- a lot on my deck. The chairs and table moved around on my deck- the sofa fell off the deck and rolled a few times across my yard. It might be advisable to put weight on these if you are anticipating a storm. I purchased the available covers and I might put a patio paver or rock on each piece before the next storm- just to see if it prevents them from moving around. Overall, for the price we paid- roughly four hundred- this is a decent set for what you get. Don't expect that you are getting the quality of a set that costs two or three times as much- and you'll likely be satisfied with your purchase. **Six Month Update** These were used over one Wisconsin summer- from April through now- halfway through October. Overall, this set has held up pretty well through the first summer of use. There's no obvious wear and the wicker has remained in pretty good condition- breaking slightly in one spot- and it's not even really that noticeable. It should be noted that we purchased the optional matching covers- so the furniture itself was protected from the direct sun and rain whenever we weren't using the set. My child has spilled some things on the fabric of the seat cushions- and as advertised, they can be washed and came out clean. While the set itself has held up well- the matching covers are absolute garbage. The fabric is very thin and has ripped in multiple places- on each piece. The cushions are still uncomfortable after a while- but otherwise this set has held up well. If you are looking for a smaller set- one that sits somewhat low to the ground- this isn't a bad set. ... show more

**update 9/10: company replaced all cushions and advised not to leave out in the rain. Well, then don't advertise as water resistant because they're not. The sofa piece started to leak rusty water and stained my outdoor rug. I bought a cover for it. I would have been better off spending the money on a better set. Cute set for small, covered balcony. No fraying of the wicker. **Update 7/9: At this point almost all of the cushions are beginning to show areas of mold. NOT waterproof. I'm working with the seller right now to hopefully replace them and will update when I hear back. I still like the set I will just be sure to cover or bring cushions inside at the end of the day. Be warned.** Overall I really like this set. Our deck could handle a larger one but with little kids and dogs, it's a great starter set before we're ready to shell out more money. Because it's smaller it's not the most comfy for me (5'9") or my husband (6ft) but not uncomfortable by no means. It's was pretty easy to put together. There was one piece on the sofa that the holes weren't aligned correctly so I had to ask my husband for help (which took a bit longer than we'd like), but I did almost all of it while watching TV in about an hour and a half. It feels very sturdy I love the table. It's short, but that is obvious with a smaller set. The glass on the table is actually black which I personally love! The rattan itself is very pretty with a really nice pattern. The cushions on the other hand? Awful. The absolute worst! We bought and put the set together mid-May. Even after Scotchgarding the cushions three of the seat cushions no longer repel water and actually fill with water. Water still pools on the top so I have no idea where the water is getting in but it takes forever to drain even upright in the sun. Two of the three that fill with water are getting mildew on them. The cushions are not remotely comfortable anyway and slide when you sit on them so we were planning on replacing next year but it looks like we'll have to replace them now instead. Disappointing but not surprising at the price point. I'd rather the cushions be poor quality than the rattan. The pieces are otherwise in great condition and we plan on bringing it into the basement in the winter for longevity. ... show more

It is a little hard to assemble, instructions and pictures on the user manual are not very clear. Once it is assembled it is comfortable and looks very good. Just a warning; these are small patio furniture big bone people will not fit on the single chairs.
