    • Volume, clarity and price can't be beat
Size: 8 in
I'm a singer, native American flute player and I had to replace all of my recording equipment and speakers setup. This was so inexpensive for what I've got I have a hard time believing how little it cost. It's not super low bassy but it's certainly doable for small parties and smaller entertainment areas because it is quite a bit louder and clearer than I thought possible for this size and price. Inside of a house it's virtually deafening if you turn it up enough . I get clear highs and quite reasonably good Lows and great mid-range. Volume, clarity and price can't be beat. ... show more

    • Very Pleased - Outdoor Theater
Size: 10 in
I purchased this product to be used as the sound system when showing movies outdoors. My typical application has a fairly large format: The screen approx 22ft. Speakers are placed roughly 5ft to each side and in front of the screen. In my first (backyard) test, the signal came from the headphone jack on a relatively low-end laptop - so about as limiting as one can get. There was fairly loud ambient noise from nearby equipment. I did not measure the db, but it was sufficiently loud that the speakers needed to overpower the noise to produce a desirable effect. The audience was seated between 20 and 30 feet from the speakers. I was very pleased. We exceeded a loud but comfortable volume level with the source volume at roughly half power, perhaps 1/3 gain on the aux input at the speaker, and the master volume set at 1/4 to 1/3 power. Voices were clear and distinct. High end sound was excellent (shrieking bird-monsters...don't ask). The speakers' bass seemed to handle the low-end "content" in the movie, but as one would expect, they can't produce the "sensory rumble" of a theater system or dedicated sub-woofer. I am pleased with the build-quality of the speakers and stand. I haven't accidentally dropped them down the stairs yet, but they feel solid and as if they will withstand the regular wear and tear of being tossed into the back of the van and hauled around, etc. I will add to this review if I learn otherwise. A quick test of all the functions went well. Music quality seemed excellent - but I was not listening with an audiophile's mindset - I enjoyed it more than I analyzed it. Bluetooth, FM, remote all work as advertised out of the box. BT pairing was simple. FM reception seems solid. The remote? ...well, I am not quite sure how much use it really is. The biggest issue is that the IR sensor is on the back of the speaker. If I have one recommendation for Pyle, it is to provide a second sensor on the front of the speaker. It only controls the USB/SD/Bluetooth/FM functions and a power off. It does not control overall system volume. One other thing, it would be nice to have a left/right speaker balance rather than a single master system volume. Overall, I am pleased. Other reviewers are correct in saying this is a system designed to meet a particular price point and higher end systems offer more. If you are an audiophile or you make your living delivering sound, then you will probably was more. However, I feel like the product is very good value and should meet the needs of most amateurs users. Your, mileage may differ. So far I am entirely satisfied. ... show more

    • Surprising Versatility and Great Sound!
Size: 12 in
I originally bought the PPHP1249KT expecting a standard Aux Line-in for my mixer, but it turns out this model relies on other connections. Thankfully, the Bluetooth capability worked perfectly as a workaround! It actually made the setup much cleaner by eliminating extra wires. The sound quality is impressive—definitely powerful enough to fill a ballroom for a party of 100–200 guests. I’ve been using them for everything from yard parties to just listening to music while doing chores around the house. Very happy with the purchase so far! ... show more

    • Worked Great!
Size: 10 in
Great sound! I used them for a memorial because the venue only had a PA system. There were loud and clear. We did not use the mic that came with the speakers we had our own wireless mics that worked well. Connected to my phone via Bluetooth with no issues. The mics connected and the sound was clear. The stands worked well, they were not heavy easy to transport. 5/5 stars for me. Now I have speakers I can use for home, karaoke and movies. ... show more

    • Great product, questionable quality, LOUSY customer service!
Size: 12 in
I bought this system in February 2021, to use outdoors for small, “COVID-cautious” gatherings when the weather warmed up... didn’t want to wait and risk it not being available in the spring. Worked GREAT when I unpacked it to test... amazing sound quality, range, etc... exactly what I wanted! I did notice that the plug into one of the speakers didn’t audibly “click” when I plugged it in, but didn’t give it much thought. Fast-forward to spring when I go to use the system for the first time. When I plug into that same speaker, there is no resistance... it doesn’t “seat”... AND there’s no sound from that speaker. If I move the plug around, I can get it to connect for sound, but only until I let go of the plug. Looking into the jack, it appears as though it’s broken, which I figured would be a simple enough fix through Pyle. After several email exchanges with Christian from Pyle’s support, I’ve been told that my warranty through Amazon has expired, even though this is the first time I’ve really used the system... fair enough. However, I had registered the product through Pyle and gotten a year’s warranty good through February 2022. After sharing my experience and suspicions (based on years of experience with electronics), I was told that I have to pay to ship the speaker back to Pyle (a BIG, heavy piece) and they would take a look at it, leaving me without the product for 4-6 weeks during the time frame that I ordered it for. I offered to purchase a new speaker with guarantee of refund after I returned the broken one but was told that wasn’t an option. So I have the option to pay way too much to ship a brand new speaker that’s broken back to the company that won’t honor its warranty, or suck it up, spend $5 on a new jack, and fix it myself. Looks like Abe Lincoln and I are going shopping... In summary, this system was AMAZING when I first tested it out, and would be perfect for any kind of outdoor use. Just hope that you don’t need to rely on their customer service or you may be disappointed. Quality is questionable as well, given that the one speaker seems to have had a faulty/broken part right out of the box. ... show more

    • Great, affordable energy level speakers
Size: 8 in
I'm in an eight person band and connect to these from the mixer. We have used them at senior centers in a room that fits 50+ people. Also used them outside at a farmer's market. They are plenty loud enough for both circumstances, and only had them turned half way up during the outdoor market. The bluetooth works well from my phone, no issues connecting or playing. Only one thing to point out is that they are mono and not stereo so you can't make any left-right balance adjustments. One speaker plugs into power, and then connects to the other passive speaker with a 1/4 jack cable. These are great speakers for our purposes and I recommend them if you are looking for affordable, easy to use, easy to transport speakers. They are great for those looking for their first speakers and don't want to invest too much. Maybe when my band starts playing bigger venues I'll consider getting the 12 inch version. ... show more

Actually, I like the whole set up and everythe speakers can't handle the power that the machine puts out, i mean, it plays pretty well. I don't pick up any FM stations period at all.Hardly I mean that really sucks , and remote is horrible, but for the cost and what it is, it's actually a great deal.I kind of wish I would have bought a little more expensive one but I couldn't afford to time ... show more

    • Great quality system!
Size: 10 in
I have had this kit for a while now and absolutely love it! I use it for DJing, so I have paired the two tops with a bass box, and it is fantastic. They get incredibly loud and throw that sound very far with great directionality. I love to use the Bluetooth on these when we just need some background music. These are very sturdy, and I am not afraid to use them outside. The tripods are a little short for certain scenarios, but they are very easy to set up. They sound fantastic, but do need a better source of bass if you want to play music with them for larger events. Attached is a video of me using them alongside a bass box for a family party. ... show more
