If you have a glut of wall chargers in a box somewhere, it is no problem. it requires a charger with a usb-a connection. charges in a reasonable amount of time, maybe 4 hours. I got this item for the same reason many households got Dustbusters back during the 80's, around when they first came out: hauling out a larger, heavier vacuum cleaner is annoying when you're only dealing with minor dust and non-liquid spills. In general, this thing has pretty good suction, particularly when dealing with loose dust/particles: it picked up dust, "dust bunnies," and various other trash particles with ease whenever they were simply lying on the floor or hard carpet. It was actually able to pick up pieces of kibble from where my dog had scattered them around his feeding bowl (the smaller, flatter pellets, just under 1/2 inch). I took advantage of this item's portability and put it to use vacuuming up our cars and car seats. It did a good job of getting up dust and various other dry particles. It also did quite well at getting dried food particles out of the cracks in our wooden kitchen table, which is a major annoyance. I tried using it on the residual dust between the keys of my computer's keyboard, and I met with mixed success there...that's more understandable, because sometimes that dust can sort of solidify to the point that alcohol wipes are needed. For cleanups like these, I found that sometimes you have to place the nose of the device directly against the surface that you are trying to clean, in order to gain enough of the maximum suction needed to dislodge the particles. For what was probably the ultimate test, I tried using this vacuum to clean some lint from paper that had accidentally been washed in one of my pants pockets (anyone who has had this happen knows how the fragments get EVERYWHERE in your pocket). The "clingy" nature of this lint in adhering to the fabric of the pocket made this job particularly difficult, and the device needed some help: I had to pull the pocket inside out as much as possible and in some cases scrape the nose of the device across the fabric of my pocket to get the more stubborn sections of lint. But I feel that the device did as well as could be expected under those circumstances. This vacuum actually has a miniature light mounted atop it so that you can see in dark corners whenever you are vacuuming; a separate button switch activates this, and it's a very thoughtful addition. On the flip side, the battery life may not be as robust as some would like: I was able to run it for about 20 minutes, off and on through the various scenarios mentioned above, before noticing that it needed plugging in. I've dealt with Dustbuster-style vacuums that have had higher suction and longer battery life...but they were also larger and more suitable for use in a shop than in a home. In general, I feel that this item, given its size and features, can be a useful addition to your arsenal of household cleaning tools. ... show more

I ordered this to use in my minivan. It’s great for messes the kids make but not so great for dog hair but I’m not concerned with that. We have a Boxer that sheds a lot and it’s impossible to clean up her hair, even with the vacs at the car wash. If your kid spells cheerios, this will suck them right up. It’s a great vacuum for messes but I’d use something else for a deeper clean. ... show more

This cordless rechargeable hand-held vacuum is a lot quieter than my previous handheld vacuums, but also slightly less "powerful", however still an effective cleaning implement. The "light" is virtually useless unless where you're using it is very dark. The accessories (hose, crevice tool, and brush) are helpful and fit well. It's nice to have a quieter vacuum in a small space like a car, and it works fairly well for that use. It's also useful in cleaning small, tight spaces around the house too (instead of dragging out the big heavy home vacuum). It says "wet/dry", but wet actually means "damp" not soaking or volumes of "liquid" (per the instructions). The debris hopper is easy to empty and clean, the "filter" is washable and easy to maintain. I like and can recommend this cordless hand-held vacuum as long as your expectations don't exceed the capabilities of this product. It's nice, less noisy, has "moderate" suction, is lightweight and easy to use, GOOD, but not great. ... show more

I had high hopes for this hand-vac. Other than the most important thing (suction), this vacuum meets those expectations. Nice features such as tube extension, light, easy to empty, and charge cord changes color when fully charged. But like every hand-held vacuum I have ever tried, it falls short on suction. Tried it in the car; it did okay on dirt, light debris, but nothing substantial. Indoors, I had spilled some bird seed on our welcome mat, but it had a hard time getting it even when dry. I believe the opening is simply too large for the amount of power, thus the suction is just average at best. I won't throw it away, but can't give it a recommendation either. ... show more

Plus - Love that it has a little light in the handle to help you see, especially if you're digging around in tight spaces, like under your seats. For tighter areas, there is an extension hose that is about 18" long, a crevice tool, and an upholstery brush. It's fairly quiet. Minus - don't expect to be able to suck up pet fur embedded in your upholstery. But then again, even full-size vacs can't battle husky fur. Decent size canister, especially since you'll probably only be picking up minimal items. Would be great camping so that any sand or dirt brought into the car or tent can easily be cleaned up. It is charged via USB, so you could keep it charged in your car with the proper adapter. Not meant for wet cleanup. I'd recommend it. ... show more

Does not suck up pet hair. However has pretty good suction with everything else. Used it in my car and it is unable to get into small, tight spaces. Good for quick clean ups. Good battery life. Has a built in LED light on the top. Easy to use and comes with a USB charger.

The media could not be loaded. The battery on this vacuum is poor. I charge it fully and use it once. Once I go to use it again, it’s dead. The suction is also not that great HOWEVER it does clean up the prices that are easier to get up. I do like this vacuum cleaner so I give it 4 stars.
