My dog is efficiently prevented from entering restricted areas by the radar technology, which guarantees that the borders are accurate and exact. Due to the fact that it offers a better degree of precision and dependability, I believe that this feature alone has the power to differentiate it from other wireless fences that I have studied. My experiences with the first training period, on the other hand, have not been very positive. In order for my dog to comprehend and obey the limits, it took me a longer period of time than I had anticipated, which required me to be patient and provide regular reinforcement. The construction is durable, and the system is easy to set up and use. It's a practical and effective way to manage pet boundaries. I was surprised at how easy it was to set up. The dogs don't go near the perimeter. They know exactly where it is. I also love that I can take it with me and that I can use it whether at the park, or at my family's home. The battery is long lasting. I haven't had any problems with it at all. It is so nice to not have to keep them behind a gated kennel. They are much happier as are we.

My dog actually stays in my yard now (at least when he has the collar on)! I was a bit skeptical so am very happy with the result. I don't even have to use the more intense mode, he comes right back on the tone/vibration mode. The forbidden mode works, too! V

Transmitter (base station) and Receiver (collar) were unable to maintain in communication. The Transmitter would register "No Signal" while the Receiver was well within the Fence distance. Inadequate signal strength rendered the product ineffective.

Updating based on the service I got from PETHEY, once Amazon referred me to them. PETHEY processed a refund because their product did not work for my situation. I was only out the cost of shipping back. If you purchase this product, test it immediately, to ensure you can get the necessary support from Amazon if you have issues as I did. I found that the signal kept getting disrupted if there was anything in the way of the collar and the central device. When I set up the main unit in my house, I could not take the collar 50 feet from the unit without the signal being disrupted and therefore not working at all. This may work on a flat piece of property with only one building, but I have a couple of buildings and some rocky terrain and it did not work for me. **Original Review** This product does not work as described at all. I have an acre piece of property and so I thought this would be the perfect setup! When I went to set it up I couldn't even get the collar to maintain a signal for 50 feet! It would lose signal every time the collar was taken around the corner of the garage. I tried it in multiple locations and various buildings in my space and it did not work. If you do purchase this product make sure you test it right away - the support window is very short.

This was so easy to set up. Training was easy but I am sure that will depend on the dog. Battery life is good. Only draw back is I have a long narrow yard wish it could do something other than circle. I have only used tone sound as my dog is a German Shepherd and trains easy. I have lost one connector. And do not know how to order just it so be sure to check them regularly. My dog also loves swimming and there is a creek in yard so super glad receiver is water proof just wish transmitter was also. Would buy again.
